Exploring Life & Business with Ava Milva of Etherica

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ava Milva.

Hi Ava, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I come from a lineage of healers in Bulgaria but I never knew this growing up. However, I always felt connected to spirit as my intuition has been very strong since I was a child. I remember knowing things before they happen and getting really strong nudges that turned out to be right. I also felt that I have a purpose and even though I didn’t know what it was at first I couldn’t settle in life until i discovered exactly while I was born in this lifetime. Fast forward to moving to LA after graduating college and finding my place in this city of extreme polarities. With so much light and dark energy coexisting here at the same time i quickly realized that in order to thrive in this city the only way is to go within and do the inner healing work in order to so. I started my healing journey not knowing it actually held the key to my purpose. This led me to studying and practicing kundalini yoga, meditation, sound and energy healing as my soul was pulling me to understand, sound, light, frequency and vibration as well as the ancient yogic teachings as powerful tools that were helping me heal lifetime of trauma, limiting beliefs and living in survival mode. As I began to understand the transformative power of these practices I got as very clear sign from spirit that I am meant to be sharing them with others. That’s how the journey of being a healer, guide and a creator of sacred frequency began. I officially started my brand Etherica in 2019 but I had already been teaching and sharing since 2016. Truly grateful I had the opportunity to create large sound healing concerts (200+ ppl) in a magical dome with incredible sound and visuals from 2019 until 2022 at the one of a kind venue Wisdome LA that unfortunately has closed since then. The feeling of bringing people together and elevating the collective vibration is unlike any other and I am committed to continue creating wherever and whenever possible. Since I have created outdoor events, other venues such as the Future Factory and more and most currently I am sharing these offerings in my very own boutique studio that feels very intimate and brings community together where we can gather, share, heal and grow together in person and virtually. In addition I am thankful to be helping multiple of my private clients go deeper into their own healing journey and empowering them to let go of anything not in alignment with their highest timeline, which has truly been so rewarding. Also, I am passionate about training other healers in the modalities of sound and energy healing sharing the tools with more people so they can also step in their purpose and power.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. When you have your purpose as also your business and you have a spiritual based business so much if it requires blinds faith, trust in the unknown, following your own intuition, despite how it looks to others and moments when you feel like giving up but make the conscious choice to keep going because your calling is higher than the challenges you are facing. Having to go through your favorite venues and studios closing because of pandemic and then having to regroup your business and offerings to ever changing landscape has definitely been one of the greatest challenges but also has taught me the resilience to keep going and to be adaptable in times of change. Also, witnessing LA go through a total transformation post pandemic and realize that my work is needed now more than ever has been what has kept me motivated during the more challenging times.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I love about LA is the diversity of culture, landscapes, energy and also the high creative and spiritual energy abundant in so many people and spaces. There is a feeling of freedom and expansion and encouragement of individuality where people can be fully themselves and be celebrated for their unique expression. I also love the beach and the beautiful nature and climate as we get to feel the sun’s warmth throughout most of the year. What I like least is the fact that so many people are struggling to afford housing and basic necessities and because of that so many people are living under stress which can be felt as you go around the city. I wish the city would become more affordable for everyone to have a comfortable life and basic necessities covered.
