Hi Ashley, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I wanted to be a lawyer since age 6 despite having no family members in law. I love to argue, advocate, and fight for the underdog as well as be a voice for those who do not have one. Standing up for what is right and advocating for justice is my passion. I love being able to help people every day and be there for them through a dark times in their lives.
I started by obtaining two Bachelor’s degrees: one in Political Science and one in Criminal Justice before going to law school. I then moved from the East Coast where I grew up out to California.
I grew up in a small town in Berkshire County, Massachusetts and after law school moved out to San Diego to pursue my dreams and visions of being an attorney in California.
I have had my own practice, Rawlins Law, APC for five years now and am honored to be able to practice personal injury law and be an attorney, advocate, friend and confidant for individuals who have been injured due to the fault of another.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing in life is smooth, but I have been blessed and rely on the Lord to carry me through every day. Adversities and struggles throughout the journey have shaped the person and attorney I have become. I have worked for everything and take pride in my work ethic, grit, and inner fight mentality that I have.
