Today we’d like to introduce you to Vahe Yeremyan.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve been passionate about art for as long as I can remember. With a master’s degree in fine art and over 30 years of experience, I’ve developed a style that blends impressionism with contemporary techniques. My focus is on capturing the emotion of landscapes and the beauty of light. Today, I share my work through my online gallery and platforms like Saatchi Art, 1stdibs, connecting directly with collectors around the world.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been easy. Early on, it was tough to gain exposure and connect with the right audience. There were financial challenges and uncertainty, especially before the digital art world opened up. Adapting to new platforms and staying true to my vision took time, but each challenge helped me grow and find new ways to share my work.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a contemporary and impressionist artist specializing in landscapes that capture light, mood, and atmosphere. My work blends classical techniques with a modern approach, focusing on emotional depth rather than just visual accuracy. I’m known for my expressive brushwork, layered color, and ability to convey a sense of place that resonates with viewers.
I’m most proud of staying true to my artistic vision over the years and building a direct connection with collectors around the world through my own platform. What sets me apart is my ability to blend tradition with intuition each painting is not just a scene, but a moment felt and remembered.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something that often surprises people is how much of my creative process happens away from the canvas.
I often work quickly sometimes I can complete a painting in just a couple of hours. But not every piece feels finished right away. Many times, I’ll come back to a painting and continue working on it, adding layers or refining details until it truly feels complete.
And while I’m best known for landscapes, I also explore abstract work privately. These experiments with form, color, and texture often influence my landscape paintings in subtle but important ways.
