Daily Inspiration: Meet Tyler Mae

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyler Mae.

Hi Tyler, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m just your casual queen from Hayward, CA. My entire life through theatre, dance & personal development I have truly become my own character of sorts. I love making myself & others laugh with my scenarios, references, invented words & silly twists of phrases. I’ve been an actor, singer, dancer, creative director & madam of many of hats for 15+ years & I’m still looking forward to every joyful step of the way to the top. My videos over the years are an insight to how I consistently focus on the good side of the bad, the positive & the absolutely funny things in life. I struggled a lot with myself & truly loving who I am, what I do & most importantly, How I do it. One day after many breakdowns, heartbreak & a few inner child calls to my mom, I was reminded that I am the Light in my own corner. I love myself, I love being me. No matter what, I choose to keep shining through even on my darkest days. I started making more videos, keeping it fun funny & putting out whatever made me laugh & feel love within myself. I want others to be inspired by my love & appreciation for myself because there was time where that love & appreciation was non-existent. I did more for others than I did for me. I thank God & the universe every day for allowing me to just be here, alive, breathing, growing, smiling, loving, laughing on the daily & ultimately living in a bliss I birthed when I really needed ME most. My biggest success is that I can give pure love to the world now because I give, feel & radiate pure love within myself all the time. For that, I am truly grateful to create & share art that displays that same energy.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My most challenging obstacles have all been internal. Knowing what’s best for me. The evolution of my state of mind. Learning & growing from things that don’t deserve me. Taking time & love to give to others instead of devoting more of it to my life. I feel as though I no longer struggle with those things because I spent so much time & effort over the years working through them. I choose to be the better version of myself & I fight for her every day.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Aside from shining in my own spotlight acting, dancing, singing & recently putting on my model Hat. I am also a Photographer, Videographer, Editor, Creative Director, Writer, Choreographer. I specialize in bringing out the best in others who need that encouragement in their corner. I can create something out of thin air. Ideas flow to me like Nile River Water. I love adding an extra OOMF to something amazing to give it a simple & yet still very powerful Touch. I’m most proud of My ability to make the best of anything I put my mind to. I believe what sets me apart from others is up to the viewer. I can say I’m different, but You have to see it to for yourself.

What were you like growing up?
I have been the same way since I was a kid. Bubbly, Bold & Blossoming like I’m all 3 PowerPuff Girls. I’m the Happy Girl to those who know Me. My childhood was awesome. My parents never gave up on me & always knew I’d find my way. I had all the joy, fun & love with the proper amount of discipline growing up. I wouldn’t change my childhood for anything. Who I am today is who my inner child is proud of now I’m the Happy Girl to those who know me & Your Majesty to masses.
