A rocker is a person who loves what they love, hates what they hate, and are never scared to share their truth with you. An outlaw is a person who will put food on their table anyway they see fit despite laws or general moral standards. In the middle, lies The Proscribed.
Deriving from Los Angeles, The Proscribed aims to lead you on a journey of rock music in a matter of minutes with their uniquely melodic, hard-hitting, and groovy sonic structure. The band looks to consciously carry the torch by spreading messages of Rock & Roll culture and belief in doing what you have to in order to survive, which members had to learn the hard way while working for organized crime outfits in the black market. The Proscribed sees themselves as a brotherhood that’s fortunate enough to share their experience through rock music.
The Proscribed is not just a band, The Proscribed is a way of life.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Living In Los Angeles is hard for anyone. It takes a lot of grit and determination to be here. From the criminals, the cops or lack thereof these days, to the homeless and mental health crisis on the streets of L.A. Even the cost of living makes it difficult to pursue anything in this city let alone music. But we The Proscribed are strong and dedicated to our craft and above all our culture. “We love our city and know that there are no excuses or handouts in this life. It’s up to the individual to find the beauty in their surroundings and if you truly want something you have to go for it with everything that you got.”

The Proscribed is a hard rock band from Los Angeles, CA. known for their hard-hitting, aggressive and melodic sound. You can listen to their latest release, “Battle Royale E.P.” on all major platforms. What sets “The Proscribed” apart from the rest of lot is their unique vocal style and willingness to push rock into uncharted territory. The biggest thing this band has to be proud of is their drive to keep going no matter what. Which gave them the opportunity to open for Alien Ant Farm in Las Vegas at the “The Rio” and helped them gain thousands of streams worldwide.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
The two things people find most surprising about ‘The Proscribed” is that some of the members used to work in the black-market drug industry and one of their members is an Eagle Scout.
