Hi Tasha, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up in beautiful Laguna Beach, California. My mother was a well-known interior designer, my father a successful Real Estate developer. I have always been interested in fashion, beauty and interior design, since before I can remember.
I got my start in the entertainment industry on the iconic MTV show “Laguna Beach.” It was a fun high school experience that allowed me to bond with friends of mine that I’ve been able to stay close with through the years. Being in front of the camera gave me a true taste of being in front of a camera.
Soon after, I moved to Los Angeles, and the moment I turned 18, I knew I wanted to chase my dream of being a Playboy centerfold. Fortunately, I’ve had a successful and long-lasting career in the adult industry, and I continue to stay close to it – I love meeting fans during signings, still shoot content for my OnlyFans, and I am always open to business opportunities.
Just this past year, I wrote my memoir titled “From Princess to Pornstar.” That experience was a real look inwards, and while challenging at times, I couldn’t be more grateful for it. It details my beginnings into the industry, many of the ups and downs, and how I’ve come out on top of it all. If you’re looking for a detailed and shocking peek behind the curtain, it’s a good read.
Today, I’m enjoying my time being a mother to my beautiful son, Luke. I’m also focused on growing as an entrepreneur. I just opened a brand new storefront, Fairytale Cottage Topanga, which is my hand-picked and curated boutique in Topanga Canyon, CA. We have a bespoke collection of women’s and children’s clothing, antiques, accessories, art and decor, and so much more. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have been really lucky. I often talk about how I’ve got an angel on my shoulder. Privileged if you will, I talk about this a lot in my book. However, no road is ever completely smooth.
I had a really tough time with the death of both of my parents. And I certainly have experienced some unfortunate mishaps in the industry, while at work. But, I believe that is behind me now that I have been able to speak openly about those experiences and share my truth.
I chose a controversial profession, and that battle of acceptance has certainly been a challenge. I really believe that 90% of life is what you make of it. So, no complaints here.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a performer, creating art is something I’m truly passionate about. It’s about connecting with my audience in an authentic way and sharing some really deep and emotional sides of me. Acting in adult films is a vulnerable state to be in. I’ve remained true to who I really am and I think that’s what my audience connects with the most.
I’d say I’m most proud of the advocacy work I’ve been able to do because I believe it’s given other women the confidence to speak out and young people the tools needed to negotiate consent. It’s always been, and always will be a goal of mine to empower sex workers and women overall. We, as a community, have to stick together and uplift one another. Consent is a major theme throughout my book too.
More recently, a new focus of mine is a brick and mortar clothing and interior decor store. My new shop has been a dream of mine for many years. I had been running an AirBNB for the last five years in Topanga Canyon. The home is designed by my late mother and myself. It’s 100% cottage-core and hyper-feminine. It was an experiential stay, and I loved hosting people. So, I parlayed that aesthetic and vibe into my boutique here in Topanga Canyon. It’s full of adorable pieces, clothing, accessories, baby clothing and home decor.
