Today we’d like to introduce you to Shawn Yacoubian.

Hi Shawn, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Been practicing martial arts since the age of 14. Started fighting in 1996. Went pro in 2002. Experienced the growth of martial arts and the impact it had on society. Decided to open my own gym brand in 2014 and have many success stories from the student base.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Its been smooth mostly since I partnered up with a trustworthy partner. Had some difficulties during covid but was able to rebuild back after a couple years

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Yacoubian Muay Thai Academy provides services in Muay Thai, Kickboxing & Boxing for most ages and levels. I am the head instructor. Some things that sets us apart is I have an extensive history of experience; my lineage, my fights and traveling abroud for continued learning. I am most proud of the atmosphere of the gym. Very welcoming but challenging.
