Today we’d like to introduce you to Sera Sloane.

Sera, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I work at the intersection of spirit, music, and beauty — three worlds that have always been one frequency for me. I’m a bi-coastal hairdresser, DJ, and spiritual advisor, but the throughline is that I help people return to their own signal. Whether it’s a haircut, a mix, or an angelic insight session, my work helps people reconnect to the clarity, brightness, and internal broadcast that life can make easy to forget.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road wasn’t always smooth, but it was always spiritually guided. Even the hard moments eventually revealed themselves as lessons — almost like fables that shaped my understanding of myself and my work. Each stretch, even the challenging ones, contributed to the clarity I have now.
I’m grateful for the path, because every experience led me to the work I do today and to the way I’m able to help people reconnect with themselves.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My work is deeply connected to my partnership with Dash Lippman, who is both my spouse and the person I build every creative universe with. Dash is a writer, a storyteller, and a visionary in their own right, and together we co-create the world of Club Angel Stuff — a home for Spirit, Music, and Beauty. Where I tune the frequency through ritual, intuition, and energy work, Dash helps shape the language, the storytelling, and the creative architecture around it. We’re two parts of the same transmission, each amplifying the other.

My spiritual work continues a generational lineage of sound, intuition and mysticism. My grandfather was El Mago de la Frecuencia Modulada, a Colombian FM radio pioneer who as an engineer elevated broadcasting for an entire generation. And my great uncle was part of Colombia’s early Spiritualism movement, using the power of radio to explore higher consciousness and the unseen.

As a spiritual advisor and angel healer, I channel guidance from Archangel Gabriel (clarity, communication, life direction) and St. Clare of Assisi (inner light, protection, the patron saint of television — the original broadcast). Dash supports this work by helping articulate the messages, create the structures that hold them, and translate the energetic into the tangible. Together, we’re creating offerings that help people reconnect to peace, love, and frequency without dogma or hierarchy.

In my hair and beauty work, I’m known for creating a grounded, mirror-free experience where people can simply arrive as themselves. My chair is a confessional booth for the soul. I help people feel seen, listened to, and supported in who they already are, not who they think they should be.

In music, we’re the DJ duo known as Club Angel Stuff, and play both vinyl and digital. We’ve been spinning vinyl since the 90s, and our style is rooted in deep musical knowledge. Club Angel Stuff, is a celebration-centered collaboration inspired by the night we met on the dance floor and we bring that same spark into every event.

Our parties are joyful and crafted to make people feel good—open-hearted, present, nostalgic and connected. Our musical style spans decades and moods: vinyl classics, soul, disco, house, 90s gems, Latin favorites, and the songs that make a room feel like it’s having a collective memory. We’re known for reading the crowd and curating with thoughtful intention.

We play all kinds of celebrations—birthdays, brand gatherings, holiday parties, community events, weddings, and intimate dinners that turn into packed dance floors. Club Angel Stuff is two people who truly love music, love people, and know how to create a moment worth remembering.

What we’re most proud of is that we’ve created a shared universe — Club Angel Stuff — where people can enter through any door (spirit, beauty or music) and receive the same energy: grounding, clarity, uplift, and a sense of belonging. It’s not a brand. It’s a broadcast.

What sets us apart is that none of this is performative. It’s our real partnership, our real lineage, and our real devotion. We’re not asking anyone to believe in anything — we’re simply offering reminders that guidance, healing, and joy are already within reach. Together, we help people remember who they are.

What does success mean to you?
I define success by how aligned and peaceful my life feels. If my work supports people, if my creativity is flowing, if I’m honoring my purpose, and if Dash and I are building a life rooted in joy, devotion, and integrity, then I’m successful.

For me, success isn’t about numbers — it’s about the energy behind the work: Am I present? Am I living honestly? And am I helping others reconnect with themselves?
If those things are true, everything else unfolds naturally.
