Today we’d like to introduce you to Sebastian Barba
Hi Sebastian, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am an actor and writer was born in Lake Arrowhead California and was raised between LA and New York for most of my life.
In middle and high school, shooting short films and with my best friends in LA made me fall in love with acting and writing. After high school I went to pursue acting in NYC studying in AMDA NYC and The New School (where I graduated). I’m studying now with Anthoney Meindel and Sara Mornell’s On Camera studios. I am bicoastal.
Years of traveling the world has also given me a world of input on culture and language. I speak Spanish, German, English and French.
Represented by Rikki Dale Management and Take 3 Talent, I am now auditioning for Tv and Film frequently and pitching several projects I hope to see go to streaming – including a show with a deck and pilot and a horror feature film.

NY and LA continue to be my two homes – although it’s Yankees and Knicks over everybody! I’m a huge fan!!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
A lot of learning.
I spent years being worried about becoming the characters I audition for, so much so that I was losing the importance of bringing my authentic self into the work.
Until I worked on myself, my anxiety and confidence about bringing my charm and humor to roles, not caring about the impressions I was making, booking started coming.
I like to say “putting your two feet forward is better than just your best one foot.”
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m an Actor specializing in Film and TV!
I also write TV and films with an emphasis on comedy. I also sing – thanks to my grandpa Abu who sits me down to sing tunes.
I’d say what sets me apart from others is my now knowing and being fully comfortable and honest in who I am and my voice. It’s helped my work be believable and relatable – and also more fun!

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Family – friends – films and television – being on set in a collaborative environment – being in the zone on a script – Yankee baseball and Knicks basketball – and TRAVEL AND FOOD!!
Huge foodie. I often have a list of restaurants that I check off as I visit.
Why? I love to live life. I’m in LA and NYC in my 20s. Hell yeah!
