Today we’d like to introduce you to Robert Mijares. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Robert Paul Mijares II, Born December 21, 1995. Also known for his stage name “Rezerekt” is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, poet, and dancer. Raised in the Antelope Valley, California, Rezerekt took interest in music starting with his first performance at Desert Rose Middle School.
At the age of 14, he realized that dance wasn’t the only way to tell a story, so he then began to do spoken word poetry. Rezerekt began to build a buzz at the Highland’s Christian Fellowship Church with his talents and met the Young Poets and the New Life Crew, which were multimedia teams at the church. Rezerekt performed Spoken Word in front of an audience for the first time in 2008 and began to realize his fans loved the content of his message. He then began dedicating his time to producing videos of himself dancing and reciting his poetry to expand his audience.
In 2010, Rezerekt began to display his talents in high school and eventually gained recognition from his pee group. He realized his worth as a dance during his senior year after winning 1st place in a talent show. Rezerekt was also building his skills as a poet and lyricist during this time in his life by rapping with friends and producing his own tracks and instantly developed a love and a passion for creating music of his own.
As time passed and seasons changed Rezerekt teamed up with Viscous Entertainment Records on December 14th, 2017 and has continued to bless the ears of fans and his faithful audience. You could become part of his successful endeavors by following alongside his journey as he makes his impact in the Hip-Hop industry. Rezerekt began his solo career January 20th, 2020 and is now building his own studio as well as his own team to take his newfound talent to the next level.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has had its moments through time so far. A couple of things that help people get through rough patches like family, friends and soulmates didn’t really work out in my favor due to my mother leaving my family for drugs and sex, some friends I thought were close to me turning their backs on me and woman I would imagine a prosperous life with becoming distant and breaking my heart. Things that challenge us are meant to either make us or break us and I have chosen to take my struggles in my life and make something positive out of it.

I currently work in the Music and entertainment area of business. Grave Gang (My Team) is consistently working diligently to create fresh new content, adapt to the newest trends of the world, and sustain a stable platform for the fans and the people who get introduced to our music. I specialize in Rap, Dance, Singing and much more. I personally am known for being an Entertainer Extraordinaire to my fans, friends and family. What I am most proud of so far is how far I’ve come not only in my artistry but also with my team and my setup in my personal home studio. The three things that set me apart from others are the most important when it comes to any independent artist and those three things are:
1. Work Ethic
2. Consistency
3. I Was Born To Be An Artist
What’s next?
My current plan for the future is to create stability not only for myself but also for my team and my family. I wanna be able to work on my music full time and have my music sustain my bills. I’ve always imagined waking up in the comfort of my own home and walking to my studio room to work and not have to worry about too much traveling around. I am looking forward to our newest music we’ve created and how the fans will interpret all of it, The newest album I am creating with my team and fellow featured artists I’ve involved and so much more video and photo content to be created and dropped. Me and My team are in the process of collaborating with many producers, videographers, photographers and recording artists so, we have a lot of big changes coming soon.
