Daily Inspiration: Meet Raina Iorgov

Today we’d like to introduce you to Raina Iorgov

Hi Raina, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Born and raised in Los Angeles, I began my career in the fashion industry over 11 years ago, starting in retail as a visual merchandiser at Brandy Melville. That experience sparked my passion for design, and I spent the next eight years honing my skills in merchandising at brands like Madewell and Fabletics. I had the opportunity to open new store locations all over the country and creatively enhance their aesthetics, which was a thrilling and formative time in my career.

Four years ago, I made the shift to styling when I joined Aritzia; That’s when my styling career really took off. I quickly built a loyal clientele, which helped me transition into new opportunities. From there, I was introduced to Ivanna Fontana and shortly after became her assistant. Ivanna showed me a deeper look at the intricacies of working in a high-profile, professional setting, including coordinating campaigns, liaising with showrooms, and sourcing luxury brands to complete elevated looks for clients.

During my time, I assisted on major projects, including the Adidas basketball campaign for NBA star Trae Young’s signature shoe, the Trae Young 2’s, as well as several campaigns for Mary Fitzgerald from Selling Sunset including creating look books for some of the looks on the show. These experiences deepened my understanding of fashion styling at a high level, preparing me to branch out and build my own path.

Today, I continue to craft personalized, confident, and authentic looks for my clients, and I’m excited to bring my unique touch to every project I take on.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
In any industry, things don’t always work out exactly as you hoped they would but that is, I think, the most rewarding part because you never know what it’ll throw you into. There will always be bumps in the road but I’ve learned that through each trial and tribulation it has always put me in a different room that later would work out better than I could have ever imagined. I’ve learned to look at it as that is how it was meant to happen and I learned so much with every opportunity that prepared me for the next. Closed doors lead to new better ones after all!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
As a fashion stylist, I specialize in helping clients discover and embrace their authentic selves through style. What sets me apart is my focus on authenticity — I believe in creating looks that reflect each individual’s true personality. I’m known for my ability to help clients feel confident and empowered by expressing who they are through their wardrobe. My approach is rooted in understanding each person’s unique style, and I make sure they walk away with a look that makes them feel both comfortable and confident in their own skin.
I have always been inspired by the artists I was introduced to, growing up in LA, who always stayed true to being authentically themselves. That to me was the most raw form of art and I try to incorporate that in my work with my clients.
