Today we’d like to introduce you to Queen Zina Thrower.

Queen Zina Thrower

Hi Queen Zina, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
At 15 years of age, I became a teen mother. Afraid and confused, I started this journey. What was I to do? I went down the wrong path and had to learn quickly what life was really about. Being raised to know that God loved me no matter what mistakes I made. There’s something about looking at that little smiling face that says: we will do this together, and we did. There were two more little smiling faces after that. Still, with each path I took, I became afraid and confused. Time passed on, those three little ones became women and went out into the world to find their own paths. Fast forward, at age 50 I was an empty nester. Navigating life alone, what am I to do now. I had to rediscover who Zina was. She wasn’t just a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt or wife. She was a Queen. So, at age 57 I decided to bet on myself and become an author. My first book I wrote my story in was Blessed not Broken vol. 3 The Power of Transformation. It was so freeing and empowering. So, why stop there? I started a business called Gift Wrapped By Designed, it failed. But that didn’t stop me. God had a bigger plan for me. With everything I had in me, I gave my life over to Him and doors started opening that I never thought would. Now with confidence and wisdom, I’m Becoming Her. The 2x bestselling Author, The International Podcaster. The Entrepreneur of inspiring glassware for Queens. The Midlife Transitional Coach. And I’m not done yet.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been smooth. I have had several challenges; there are times when I’m still afraid and confused. Times when I doubt myself. Times when I’m challenged on who to trust. But God! For me, challenges are opportunities for me to grow.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
When I’m not working my 9 to 5 career as a Quality Auditor for a pharmaceutical company, I am educating, motivating and cultivating midlife women. Midlife can be a very scary time of life. My specialty is financial education. As a midlifer, you can change how you look at your financial situation. This part of life can be mentally stressful. So, I’m here to help. I’ve navigated these waters.

I am most proud of the calling that God has placed on my life. I get to talk with women that are trying to figure out the second half of their life’s and assist them. I am uniquely designed for my calling. I meet everyone where they are, and we grow from there. I am transparent; I keep it real, simple, and real honest. Every now and then, you may catch me saying a challenging word. (If you know what I mean). I love my God; He already knows me.

What matters most to you? Why?
To be able to reach as many midlife women as possible around the globe. So that they can live their dream life. I know that it can be done because I’m doing it. I talk the talk, and I walk the walk each and every day. If I can make their walk a little easier, then my work is done. My satisfaction comes when I hear God say:” Well done my good and faithful servant”.
