Daily Inspiration: Meet Pierre Stepz Wright

Today we’d like to introduce you to Pierre Stepz Wright.

Hi Pierre Stepz, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
In 2013, I was in community college in Menifee California call MSJC. I used to watch vine (RIP) all the time and thought it was very funny, one day my friend named Breana Gatson came up to me and said “hey Pierre you should start making videos like what you see on vine you are a very funny person and your very animated ” From that day forward I start making videos on vine but it wasn’t my forte until Instagram came out with their own video that was for 15 seconds. When that happened, I started making videos on Instagram and just showing my friends. Eventually, I started thinking why don’t I just do this for fun and enjoy entertaining my friends and other people. As the days goes by, I started making videos with my friends. I started posting them on Instagram and I started getting attention; it was fun to see that people enjoy my entertainment.

As that was happening, I started looking at People videos and said to myself what makes me “Pierrestepz”? Later on, I was introduced on a movie called “Scott Pilgrim versus the world” Ever since then, that got me hooked on what type of contact I wanted to do on social media. I wanted to do VFX but I wanted to make it into live action anime. Ever since then, I’ve been doing a lot of anime content anything that’s based on real-life make it into anime and achieve my goal to become the best content creator in anime. As that day happened, I started getting more attention and people really loved what I did to the point where I even collaborated with some of the OG viners at the time. Landon moss and King Vader from that day forward that inspired to become more than just a content creator; I wanted to be known as a Director, actor, VFX artist. After a few years and a lot of hard work, I’ve become as what I call it an “Anime Gawd” (thank you, RobiiWorld for that name) I always thank my friend for believing in me and literally told me that I was funny. Present, I have over 1 million followers on TikTok on Instagram. I have over 100k followers all I want to do now is just keep growing and moving forward in life and being able to buy my mom a house in the future.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I haven’t been on a smooth road. It’s been troublesome family not believing in your dreams they always wanted you to do a 9-to-5 job and I hated it. I stop working at the age of 25 because I knew to myself that this can make me more money from anything. But I had to always remember to enjoy and appreciate the things I do because if I were to quit that means that I gave up on my dreams.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in VFX, I am known as an anime Gawd. I am proud that I was able to meet other creators that does the same thing I do. It took a while but I am very thankful and I’m still around them as we speak king Vader Irving lambert Caleb city metro Kennyjknox Meech Iminikon June bug. Me king Vader and Irving Lambert and Iminikon been tight since. What makes me apart from everyone is that I am very energetic very happy in every time when you see me, you expect nothing but high energy even if you have a bad day because mysteriously I can help you from my own energy to make you happy. When I’m sad everyone can feel it which is kind of weird but at the same time funny because they start worrying about me afterwards.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I don’t mind finding a mentor. I always feel like if someone else did it better than you, you can always learn how to do that and critique it in your own significant way. I always have my friends to help me out on certain things that they’re very good at and that I’m not good at. I try my best to learn from them and form in my own way.
