Today we’d like to introduce you to Nico Rahardian Tangara.
Nico Rahardian, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
From a young age, I had a passion for art and later discovered the world of digital art through online gaming. I started with pixel art and even went on to modify private servers, like Ragnarok Online, and create my own custom monsters, NPCs, and story arcs. During the popularity of Warcraft 3, I also dabbled in making custom maps like Tower Defense. Today, my creativity is a fusion of my tech skills and love for art, and those early experiences have heavily influenced my creative journey.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Finding time to explore your creative side can be difficult, especially when balancing work and other responsibilities. However, I’ve learned that it’s crucial to set aside some time, even if it’s just a few hours a week, to dive into your creative pursuits. It can be a great way to unwind, destress, and explore your passions. Whether it’s painting, writing, or any other form of creative expression, making time for it can help you stay inspired and fulfilled.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m always up for a new challenge, especially when it involves working with new technology. There’s something about figuring out how to use a new tool or technology that gives me a real sense of satisfaction and happiness. I’m proud to say that I have experience using a variety of creative tools, such as Blender, Unreal Engine, Sparks AR, Lens Studio, HTML/CSS, StableDiffusion, and all text-to-image prompt AIs. I’ve even dabbled a bit with Javascript and Python.
Of course, there’s always more to learn, and I’m constantly pushing myself to acquire new skills. Recently, I taught myself how to work with Raspberry Pi and Arduino, which was a really exciting challenge for me.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
