Hi Nathalie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Believe it or not, my business began as a bet back in 2011. At the time, I was a stay-at-home mom with two little ones, dreaming of remodeling our backyard. My husband wasn’t keen on spending the money, so I made a deal with him. If I could earn the money from home, we’d go for it. He agreed.
Drawing on my professional background as a graphic designer—and years of creating custom party printables for my kids’ birthdays—I decided to open an Etsy shop. My small side hustle quickly became a passion project. It took some time, but I eventually saved enough to transform our backyard into the oasis I’d envisioned. Mission accomplished!
But I didn’t stop there. I poured even more energy into my business, expanding my product line beyond birthday parties and baby showers to include tons of printables for holidays and appreciation days. I also built my own website, complete with a shop and a blog filled with fun freebies. And from there my business began to flourish.
Fast forward to today, and I’m proud to say I’ve built a thriving blog and shop at pressprintparty.com, with a community of loyal customers. What started as a backyard dream turned into a creative journey I wouldn’t trade for anything.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I had just released my complete party planner and decided to go all-in on my blog and shop when Covid hit—and parties came to a sudden halt. Almost overnight, my shop was on the brink of collapse. But instead of giving up, I pivoted and started creating funny quarantine party supplies, which helped keep my business afloat during those uncertain times.
Selling online has its challenges. From navigating unpredictable seasonal income swings to keeping up with constant changes in Google and Etsy algorithms. Over time, I’ve learned that success demands ongoing learning, adapting, and keeping a close eye on your numbers. It’s not always easy, but it’s all part of the journey.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I know what makes a great party. It’s something I just get. It’s like second nature to me. I understand how the little details, the atmosphere, and the thoughtful touches come together to create an unforgettable experience.
My girls’ birthday parties have always been amazing, and I’ve loved seeing the joy and excitement they bring.
That passion drives me to help others create those same magical moments for their kids. It’s why I designed my “Best Party Ever” planner—to make it easier for moms to give their children a celebration they’ll cherish forever.
I also offer full party printable sets with everything you need to pull off a cohesive and stress-free celebration, from invitations and decorations to thank you notes.
But my creativity doesn’t stop at parties. I design a wide variety of printables to help moms with everything from classroom giveaways (like Valentine’s Day cards) to thoughtful gifts and beyond. Every design is crafted by me, and I nearly always include a way to personalize them with names, making each printable extra special.
I also take pride in offering top-notch customer care. I often go the extra mile to tweak my printables for custom orders, ensuring my customers get exactly what they need.
Making people’s celebrations easier, more personal, and a little more magical is what I love to do.

I couldn’t do what I do without the support and advice of fellow bloggers. Facebook groups have been an invaluable resource, offering professional guidance and a sense of community.
