Daily Inspiration: Meet Myiesha Redman

Today we’d like to introduce you to Myiesha Redman

Hi Myiesha, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Raised in Sacramento, my journey started at a very young age.
High School marked the beginning of hair styling for me as I would become the go to for a lot of my peers.

In the art of making others feel confident and beautiful solidified my decision to turn my passion into a lifelong profession.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have been many challenges along the way, however I am a very optimistic type of person & enjoy the process & growth of it all. Self discipline was one of my biggest challenges & realizing that I am in control of my journey.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
In my profession id like to be recognized for being a well-rounded hairstylist. I have a creative spirit & love to think outside of the box. I’m most proud of being able to find solutions & having patients for all of my clients, really catering to them & understanding what works for one does not work for all.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
My View on Risk taking is exciting I always say go for it ! There is no growth to me if I’m not taking risk & trying new things & Challenging myself ! The biggest risk id say is leaving Sacramento & coming to Los Angeles to pursue my career.
