Today we’d like to introduce you to Mandy Wilde.
Mandy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I live and work in Los Angeles as a certified Psychic Medium and Astrologer. I also consult and educate on the Radical Rituals of Deity Divination. I work with my intuitional tools to help others positively navigate their own life paths, whether it is through Mediumship, Astrology or Ritual.
I have been communicating with spirits ever since I can remember. My connection to the spirit realm began when I was a little girl around 5 or 6 years old. My first memory of contact was when I saw a man in our living room next to the Christmas tree in the middle of the night.From then on, I’d continue to see spirits and learn to live with their presence all around. As elderly family members would pass, I would start seeing them as well as hearing messages.
Fast forward to my adult life, I was working as a Sommelier and Wine Director of a very high-end restaurant as well as touring with my band whenever I had time off. My band was putting out record after record while I was working sometimes 70+ hours a week in the restaurant. I was burning the candle at both ends.
Oddly enough, I was at both the apex of my career and hitting an exhaustive wall at the same time. During this time, I developed a severe food allergy. It was so abrupt and I became terrified to consume anything. This ended up being a blessing in disguise as I had to relearn my entire body’s signals, I couldn’t exist on “auto-pilot” anymore.
Broadly speaking, when I relearned my diet and started healing my body and mind, something else happened. My intuition started to intensify as well. This lifestyle was the catalyst that led to me making giant changes in other areas of my life. I began to reevaluate my entire world. I started to look at this sudden life-threatening allergy as a way to rebuild who I was inside out. It forced me to look at myself and my surroundings very carefully, keeping what served me and ridding myself of what didn’t. The final defining moment was when I got the courage (it took me two separate times for this to actually stick) to finally leave an industry I’d been a part of for over half my life. Through this very long personal evaluation, I finally admitted to myself that the work I’d been doing for so long had in fact become toxic for me.
It was a ton of trial and error but I eventually arrived where I am now. Through this journey, I came back to my roots of Mediumship but I chose to seek mentorship and refine my skills. I became certified as a Medium and have been living my truth ever since. I get to help people with a gift that I’d taken for granted my entire life. Every day, I get to help people all over the world!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
There were definitely some obstacles and among the most challenging was simply getting to the point of making the decision to change courses. It required a complete life upheaval. I had identified myself as my job title for entirely too long. I attached all of my self-worth to those few words on my business card. I’d worked so hard to get to where I was and until that moment, I couldn’t see anything beyond it. I fought the change out of fear for years before taking the plunge. But once I did, things became so clear and considerably smooth!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a certified Psychic Medium and Astrologer. I also consult and educate on the Radical Rituals of Deity Divination. I work with my intuitional tools to help others positively navigate their own life paths, whether it is through Mediumship, Astrology or Ritual. I’m most proud of the classes I’ve been offering. It was a goal I set for myself at the beginning of this journey and this past October I was able to launch them!
The thing that sets me apart from others is my empathy. Through Mediumship, I am here to help those who are simply seeking. It is through love and gentleness that I bring my clients closure, hope and peace from their passed loved ones and help connect them to their spiritual team and life path. Through astrology, I curate natal, predictive and relationship synastry charts to help my clients understand and navigate their own personal paths.
How do you think about happiness?
For me, happiness comes in the form of play and that primarily looks like roller skating, making music, education (yes this is play for me too) and exploration. I feel the happiest when excited and I’m most excited when I’m learning or experiencing new things.
