Daily Inspiration: Meet Madison Brodsky

Today we’d like to introduce you to Madison Brodsky

Hi Madison, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hi, I’m Madison Brodsky—a small-town girl with big dreams who turned what I once thought was an impossible job into my full-time reality.

Growing up, I thought television personalities just volunteered their time. LOL! Little did I know, it could actually be a real job, and here I am, living it. I’m an entertainment reporter, host, writer, producer, TV personality, and influencer, sharing the stories that entertain and connect with people.

I graduated from the University of Arizona with a double major in Journalism and Film/TV, completing 12 internships and wrapping it all up in just three years (yes, I like to keep busy!).

Now, whether I’m on screen or behind the scenes, I get to do what I love every single day—proving that with a little passion and a lot of hustle, anything is possible!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My career has been anything but a smooth road, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Like many in the entertainment industry, I’ve faced challenges—from breaking into the business as a young journalist to navigating the ever-evolving media landscape. I started as a field producer, working behind the scenes for years before getting in front of the camera, and that transition wasn’t easy. I had to prove myself in new ways, constantly adapt, and create my own opportunities when doors weren’t opening fast enough.

One of my biggest struggles was learning how to balance creative passion with the business side of the industry. I’ve had to advocate for myself, whether negotiating deals, pitching projects, or pivoting when opportunities didn’t pan out. It’s also been a journey to find my unique voice and confidence in an industry that often tells you who you should be.

Despite the challenges, every setback has taught me resilience, and every twist in the road has led to something even better than I originally envisioned. I’m grateful for the struggles because they’ve made me a stronger journalist, creator, and storyteller.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m an entertainment journalist, host, and content creator specializing in red carpet interviews, live streaming, and digital storytelling. My career started behind the scenes as a field producer, but I’ve since stepped in front of the camera, covering everything from Hollywood’s biggest premieres to innovative tech trends shaping the industry.

What sets me apart is my ability to blend sharp journalism with an engaging, conversational style. I don’t just ask questions—I create moments. Whether I’m interviewing A-list celebrities or moderating panels with groundbreaking entrepreneurs, I focus on drawing out unique, headline-worthy stories that resonate with audiences. I also love merging entertainment and commerce, hosting live e-commerce shows where storytelling meets shopping.

One of the things I’m most proud of is my ability to adapt and evolve in an industry that’s constantly changing. From being named LA Magazine’s Woman of Impact to working on major brand collaborations and pitching my own projects, I’ve built a career that’s both creative and strategic.

Ultimately, my passion is connecting with people—both the ones I interview and the audiences watching. That’s what drives everything I do.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was always a curious, outgoing, and determined kid. I loved storytelling in every form—whether it was writing, performing, or pretending to interview celebrities on my imaginary red carpet. Entertainment and sports were a huge part of my world, especially because my mom and I had a tradition of watching Entertainment Tonight every night in our PJs and heels. Award season was my Super Bowl, and I was that kid who memorized every nominee and practiced my acceptance speeches in the mirror.

At the same time, I had a competitive streak and a strong work ethic. I wasn’t just dreaming about the industry—I was studying it. I knew early on that I wanted to be an entertainment journalist, and I chased every opportunity to make it happen. I interned 12 times in three years while studying Broadcast Journalism and Film/TV at the University of Arizona, determined to learn every aspect of the business.

Even as a kid, I loved connecting with people and making them feel comfortable enough to open up. That same energy and passion drive me today, whether I’m on a red carpet, hosting a live show, or creating content that resonates with audiences.
