Today we’d like to introduce you to Li Liu.
Hi Li, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I began working as a production designer after getting my degree from the Art Center in 2019, but Covid hit soon after I began, that giving me more time to spend at home. I’ve always been interested in stones and crystals because, regardless of whether they actually hold any energy, each one is stunning enough for us to stop and appreciate it. So I started putting these pieces together and started my own brand, “INWARD SEASON”.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I’d say that I’ve cried so many times on the way along with, but now when I really think of it, I can’t recall any specific things that happened, I just remember that feeling, but every time when I’m looking back, I’d say that I’m actually blessed enough to have my family and friends that’s been helping and supporting me, also it’s the energy and faith they passed to that keeps me going forward.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My major was spatial and environmental design, but I’m now a production designer and creative director, I mostly working on music videos, I’ve worked with Wiz Khalifa, and Halsey, and lots of other great talented artists. I’m also a creative director for the jewelry line ” INWARD SEASON”, I have put a lot of personal emotions on this brand because this is a brand that stepping into adulthood with me, so it’s about my reflections and self-awareness.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
In terms of the business I’m currently running, I genuinely believe that self-awareness and spiritual matters will become popular in the coming years. After all, the past three years will undoubtedly have led people to step back and focus on themselves more.
