We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No successful business has been down a smooth road. The key is to show up everyday ready to tackle those obstacles. We have moved our location multiple times, found our way through the devastation of events through Covid, pivoted, and stayed innovative in the way we do business.

We have had cakes fall, and we just show up to rebuild them. The dog took a bite out of the side of the cake, we got you! Fell down the stairs with a cake, ok let’s get a team to you to put it back together.
That’s not even including the road trips, traveling out of the state or country with a wedding cake is a struggle from the time you start your travels to the moment you finish the set up but every struggle helps you build a stronger company.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a buttercream cake artist. I started professionally decorating cakes at the age of 16. I create real cakes, not fake styrofoam dummies.

I love to bake, and create all my cakes with the freshest ingredients available. Creating a unique menu item just fills my soul!! I want a client to enjoy the cake tasting process with me. I love that moment when they take a bite and you can see the surprise in their eyes when they realize this is not just cake but an amazing dessert to really savor, and enjoy!

I love to really get to know my clients, what part of their love story that we can bring into the design of the cake for them. Your wedding day should be the day to share your love story with family and friends, and allowing me to share that with them and their guests is the absolute best.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
In Los Angeles we love celebrate, I see our industry moving forward with unique ways to create the best experiences for our clients!!
