Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Ashley .
Hi Jessica , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I always knew that I wanted to tell stories. I went to film school while pregnant with my son and then in 2016 officially began working as an actor. In 2020, I entered the social media content production space as an influencer and content editor. Now I presently manage my own and the social presence of several large brands and tv/film productions. It rewarding and amazing to fuse all of my interests into one.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Honestly, it’s been very very…. Unique. I find that I always receive more than I expected and things tend to happen in ways I never planned on. It has always been easy from me to adapt and change and learn from everything around me.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’ve always been a very visual person. I am responsible for creating the videos, ads, and online marketing strategies for many large brands, public figures and tv shows. I often times visualize exactly what it is I want to create before I meet with anyone and I can effectively bring these visions to life. As both and actor and producer, it’s very easy for me to convey what I need from a project from every perspective.
I also created my first show! The intrusive thoughts podcast is a production years in the making and centers on all of my random interests and taboo knowledge that I’ve collected over the years.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I started off as a filmmaker and was determined to never be on camera or in the public eye in anyway… only known for my work behind the camera.
