Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeo Rodriguez
Hi Jeo , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is Jeo Rodriguez, I am a model, actor, and creative. I began this journey by creative directing, styling, and shooting my own content which then led me to work as a model and actor professionally. I have modeled for brands such as ; Valabasas, Villain Attire Stiiizy, JOY X Pacsun, JOY X ComplexCon, Shakawear, Streetwise, Menace, Evilvice, Cough Syrup, and Streetmob. I’ve made appearances in music videos for artists such as ; Feid, Ozuna, Chino Pacas, Saweetie, Marca.MP, and Coldplay. And I recently just wrapped my first 3 films this year, 2 short films and a feature film expected to release next year.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I believe no road with a huge end goal is a smooth one. Mine in particular has been filled with a lot of sacrifice and learning as I go.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked on all platforms as a model; streetwear, editorial, runway, print, commercial, and Ecom. My favorite projects I’ve been a part of are the ones where I’ve gotten the chance to build an organic relationship with the photographer and director giving me the chance to contribute to the creative direction or the styling. I also was casted for my first acting roles this year and realized how much I loved acting. So many layers to becoming a character all through the lens of someone’s mind. I’m looking forward to doing a lot more of it next year.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
I think the most important thing I’ve learned is how far faith can take you. I wrote down a lot of the projects/goals that I’ve wanted to work on this year and I can whole heartedly say 95% of them came to fruition. Between the divine timing and the manifestation there’s a whole lot of just raw groundwork that goes along with it. I think everything you want is already yours.
