Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Dela Rosa.
Hi Jennifer, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi thank you for having me here & honored I get to share my story. I am Jennifer (also go by Jenn) the owner & creator behind Dreamcatcher Designs and Co. I was born & raised in southern California. I am a wife, mother of twin boys, & also have a full-time career as a pediatric occupational therapist. Dreamcatcher Designs and Co started by wanting to create my own earrings that would be lightweight and not cause any skin irritation since most earrings I would wear can only be worn for a few hours before it started to irritate my ears and feel heavy. I initially created faux leather and leather earrings, but soon right after I discovered polymer clay. When I made my very first pair, I fell in love with the process and discovered how therapeutic it was from start to finish. I also loved how lightweight it was and I was able to wear it for hours. I also wanted to make sure to only use hypoallergenic earring posts that is nickel and lead-free. I then decided to share with family and friends online to see where this would take me and officially started Dreamcatcher Designs and Co on 11.11.19 with a vision of hope to inspire other women dreamers that she is beautiful and worthy to go after her dreams too. I then slowly expanded my jewelry & accessories line that have been created by inspiration through my own journey and the inspiration of my Dreamcatcher Designs and Co community. All of the designs are created with love to inspire, empower, and remind you when you wear any of our Dreamcatcher Designs and Co jewelry, you are already beautiful, worthy, and loved.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There were many challenges and obstacles along the way. First, I am also a full-time pediatric occupational therapist and have a family. Having to balance all the roles can be challenging and I am still learning how to balance it all. Another challenge is just learning to navigate on starting a small business. But with the help of lots of research (Google and YouTube are my best friends,) I learned to start my own website, product photography, different quality of supplies, and all small business-related duties I have just learned through trial and error. This also goes with creating my jewelry. There were many pairs I did not release due to not passing the standard of how I wanted it or making lots of mistakes. But I truly believe it was through this process I learned the most and be where I am today.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am the creator and designer of Dreamcatcher Designs and Co. I create handmade jewelry and accessories that is lightweight, hypoallergenic, and designs that inspire women she is already beautiful and to also go after her own dreams. Each collection that is designed has been inspired by own journey as Dreamcatcher Designs and Co evolves and also inspired by the Dreamcatcher Designs and Co community. I hope to also empower and encourage dreamers that any dream small or big to go after it since it is through the journey you will find your true self.
I am proud of myself that even through my own doubts, fears, and lessons, I choose to still keep going. I couldn’t do it without the support of my family, friends, and DD community.

I have to thank so many people in my life because I would not be where I am today personally and the growth of Dreamcatcher Designs and Co to keep going. I want to thank my family and friends who have supported and showed love since day 1 for me. I want to thank all the new people I got to connect with through DD, meeting some other artists, creatives, and small business owners who have been so encouraging, and the DD community who shows love and support.
