Today we’d like to introduce you to Jehan Mansy.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I grew up surrounded by objects that carried stories—family heirlooms, amulets, and the visual representation of my Egyptian heritage. Early on I was drawn not just to the beauty of those pieces but to their spiritual meaning. That interest led me into a parallel path as a healer specializing in Islamic esotericism, where I learned how symbols, materials, and intention can support transformation and wellbeing. Over time I began designing small talismans and wearable pieces to support my clients’ practices: simple, meaningful items infused with intention, healing symbols, and traditional motifs. Friends and clients kept asking to buy them, and I realized there was a space for jewelry that bridges spiritual practice and contemporary style.
I launched my jewelry line, Jehan Mansy Jewelry (JMJ), to offer modern interpretations of Egyptian heritage; clean, wearable designs that honor traditional symbolism and the energetic work I do as a healer. Each piece is conceived with both aesthetic and spiritual function in mind such as quality materials, subtle reference to ancient motifs, and an emphasis on purpose. Today I juggle my time between my current spiritual healing business and, designing new collections. My goal is to create jewelry that people love to wear and that also serves as a conduit for protection, and remembrance of deeper traditions.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This venture into the jewelry world has been both exciting and a learning adventure! I am so fortunate to be working with an incredible supplier who matches my business acumen and holistic mindset. I am learning the value of patience with the amount of back and fourth communication that is required for every minute detail. Time management and emotional labor have been another interesting challenge. How can I juggle my healing work, client care, while running a growing business? These challenges have pushed me to be intentional about branding, to build mindful product marketing, and to form remain in alignment with my spiritual integrity- all of which have strengthened my business.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I design and produce jewelry that blends modern aesthetics with motifs from my Egyptian heritage and the spiritual practices I adhere to as a spiritualist. My pieces are intended to be both beautiful and functional: wearable art that carries symbolic meaning, energetic intent, and cultural significance. I specialize in modern talismans and amulets informed by Islamic esotericism and traditional Egyptian symbolism. In my healing practice I work with intention; from mindful setting, exorcisms, protective rituals, and energetic re balancing; these methods inform how I design. Down to the material choice, everything I produce is either 18K gold or platinum, to the symbolism and how a piece is consecrated. I’m known for unique, contemporary designs that respect and translate ancient motifs without appropriation. Clients tell me my work feels authentic, subtle, and easy to wear daily, pieces that serve as gentle reminders, anchors for ritual, or tools for protection and centering.
I’m most proud of creating pieces that honor my heritage and spiritual lineage while fitting into every day wardrobes.
I am enjoying educating clients about symbolism so each piece carries meaning beyond aesthetics. My jewelry line is unique because I integrate my healing practice and esoteric knowledge into the design process, so jewelry is both aesthetically refined and intentionally activated. A focus on cultural respect and authenticity: designs that translate tradition with care rather than commodify it.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to create jewelry that honors my heritage and supports people’s spiritual journeys. It’s an honor to serve both healing clients and jewelry customers, each commission and conversation teaches me something new. I’m having so much fun bringing these designs to life and can’t wait to share the collections I’ve been developing over the past few years. Thank you for your support and curiosity!
