Eva and Javier gained a large following, creating comedy skits online. Eva and Javier are married and are currently working on first feature comedic film, which Javier plans to also direct.
They’ve been creating comedic skits for 2 years with millions of fans around the world and billions of views.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Learning how to make a good skit for an evolving platform and audience proves difficult even to this day. In the beginning, we didn’t know what we were doing or where to start. There’s very view mentors out there for this line of work. The beginning was just trying to monetize and earn enough money to pay our bills.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We make comedy skits online. We’re known to make funny skits as a couple, playing ourselves and various characters. I’m proud to have reached 2 million subscribers just on YouTube.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
The beginning is going to be messy. Learn and absorb but try to be original.
