Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Anderson.
Hi Jasmine, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I have explored various entrepreneurial journeys since graduating from HS. From fashion to media to branded content curation, I have worked in and around just about every industry.
Today I serve as a Travel and Lifestyle Influencer. I work as a travel advisor, traveling the world, and exploring new partnerships all while assisting clients in curating their very own unforgettable travel experiences. Over the years, I have developed a social media presence and rapport with a network of people, mostly Black and minority women entrepreneurs, creatives, and professionals.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road within the corporate or entrepreneurial world as a Black woman. The main struggle has been finding my voice as a woman in mostly male-dominated industries. However, from my experiences, I have learned to be confident in my abilities and assertive.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a travel agent at Travel Goddess International. I advocate for women’s empowerment and uniting women through my organization, Boss Babes love Brunch. I am a real estate investor and landlord. But most importantly, I am a Black woman out of poverty creating my own narrative.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Confidence is key. The way I found confidence in myself and my capabilities as being in spaces that were specifically for people like me and doing things that I was/am passionate about.
