Ilai, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I began my journey nearly 30 years ago, practicing classic European facials designed mainly to pamper and relax. Very early on, I realized that the skin is a living, intelligent organ, a complex system that demands precision rather than routine. Each face tells a different story, and no two skins should ever be treated the same.
As I learned to truly understand the skin and how it responds, my clients began to experience real change, healthier skin, improvement in acne and pigmentation, and visible anti-aging results. Over the years, I remained devoted to my approach and never compromised on it. People quickly realized that what I offered was not just another facial, but a treatment with meaning, one that delivers real and lasting results.
I was among the first to move away from traditional facial care toward a more clinical, results focused philosophy that merges science, experience, and intuition. This vision, driven by passion, precision, and purpose, continues to define my work today, setting a new standard for what real results in skincare truly mean.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was definitely a bumpy road. In the beginning, many people raised an eyebrow at the idea of a facial that wasn’t about pampering. My approach was different, more clinical, intentional, and focused on creating visible change. Every treatment began with carefully analyzing the skin, understanding its behavior and its needs, and selecting exactly what it required to look and function at its best.
At first, it wasn’t easy to explain this vision, but I stayed true to it. I believed that when you treat the skin according to its specific needs, real transformation happens. The skin becomes healthier, more resilient, and visibly refined. Over time, people began to see that difference, and that belief, grounded in dedication, passion, and persistence, became the foundation of my success.

My work goes far beyond a facial. I believe every skin has its own language and rhythm, and my role is to understand it and create a treatment that meets its exact needs. Each client receives a fully customized plan designed to bring visible, lasting results. I also teach my clients how to care for their skin at home, because consistency and teamwork make all the difference.
Over the years, through a deep understanding of ingredients and how they interact with the skin, I began creating my own boutique line, Skinilai. Every formula reflects a deep commitment to purity, precision, and performance. I realized that genuine skin health cannot rely on formulas filled with preservatives, synthetic fragrances, or artificial colors. These ingredients may appear harmless, but they often cause long-term damage and disturb the skin’s natural balance.

Seeing these transformations, both in the treatment room and through consistent home care, is what I find most meaningful. It changes confidence, it changes how people feel about themselves, and in many cases, it truly changes their quality of life.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t really believe in luck. I believe in hard work, persistence, and genuine care. Most of what people call “luck” usually comes after years of dedication and consistency. There is no shortcut and no magic.
In my work, results don’t happen by chance. They come from knowledge, precision, and the ability to truly connect with each client. I started my career before becoming a mother, and through all the years of raising my children and building my business, I’ve given my full heart to both. It wasn’t always easy, but it shaped who I am and taught me the true value of perseverance and purpose.
So if there’s any luck in my story, it’s being able to do what I love every day and see the real change it brings.
