Today we’d like to introduce you to Elijah Vaughan.
Hi Elijah, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I moved from Chicago to Los Angeles back in April 2019, I first start working a pier burger on Santa Monica pier for one year. I first moved here to start my dancing career throughout that time I was hit by a car and my leg was broken! So dancing was out of the box I always was a hard worker /hustler so I found ways to make myself busy while healing (which is everything I touch I know exactly what to do)… I’m very multitalented so I put some of my talents together! I like to have a drink here and there… I also had a candy store named after me called sweet tooth back home in Chicago when I was ten! So I combined to two and started my own bartending business back in 2021!
It went skyrocketed I have one best friend from high school from our home town Chicago she moved to Los Angeles her name is Delia Peña she stuck beside me throughout the whole thing and never asked for one cent… people like that make me want to give to everyone around me it makes me feel good now to make other people feel good if I learned anything I learned it from her!
The only way I was able to accomplish this achievement.. is because I had faith and push myself hard no matter what happened broken leg, no family not so many friends but hey, I kept pushing and I wanted more and more once I realized I can do whatever I dream, just have to get up and go get it!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s been great so far… some days can get a little rocky just have to keep pushing forward!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I feel great that I can give back to the community…
I love bartending because drinking and the presentation can make you feel like a kid again back in the candy store!
I also have an event planning business! And it means so much to me to make someone so happy with what I can do to make the event the best ever for them baby shower, wedding, Birthday Party ext. sometimes you have to take your frustration out on your artwork.
