Today we’d like to introduce you to Camille Waldorf.
Hi Camille, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I grew up in the foothills of Soquel in Santa Cruz, California. Riding my horses in the redwood forest with my dogs and being with nature. I trained as an equestrian vaulter for ten years, making it to the U.S.A world team. Then, I retired and went to college at 13 to study acting, dance, music, film, photography, painting, writing, and math. I went to the Art Institute in San Francisco for painting, film, and professional ballet.
I am a fine art painter, actress, singer-songwriter, composer, producer, & editor of music and film. Or otherwise known as a Polymath.
I recently released the music album WALL SPACE, and my latest single is called Crossed Over with Paul Ill on guitar and base, 7 Graylen Eastwood on Drums; it’s out on all platforms, and the music videos are on YouTube. Some modeling and music videos can also be found on As Four Bjork Site links in my social media bios. https://www.bjork.fr/As-Four,7231
I began modeling at 13 and started booking worldwide modeling campaigns, runway shows, commercials, and music videos. I started studying acting in college at thirteen, then at the Beverly Hills Playhouse here in LA, and with Bobby Chance. I booked Hell Ride a film presented by Quentin Tarintino with Dennis Hopper, Michael Madison, David Carradine, and Larry Bishop I acted in films like Wildflowers with Dayrol Hanna Eric Roberts Clea Duval. The film What Dreams May Come with Robin Williams. You can see me sing Delicate Boy, a song I wrote and composed and produced the music video for in a film called Scumbag. Playing the supporting lead role of Megan. I sang my song Delicate Boy in the film and was gracing the cover of Film Threat Magazine for the role and the song. Delicate Boythen got picked up and played on all stations for The Independent FM Radio Station in 2020. I haven’t worked with any agents or music labels since my modeling years, so I’m very grateful for this journey.
I just walked the runway at the Punk Museum in Los Angeles for the Allenknotts runway show.
My paintings recently were featured in Art Squat Online magazine for the new launch of my fine art and E-Comers line with my paintings now on many products at camillewaldorf.com check it out.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I use obstacles and challenges as a tool for creating material, taking the hard and making it into something beautiful; I was conditioned young to not let people, emotions, or things on the outside get in the way of the work. Let it all happen. I try to always forgive and set boundaries so everyone can learn and grow. I mostly work alone, but people are so beautiful it’s always fun and better with others. I like to be a part of a team.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar with what you do, what can you tell them about what you do?
I am known for being an am a fine art painter, actress, model, singer-songwriter, and music video creator. Being a professional athlete of the U.S.A. team in equestrian vaulting. A professional ballet dancer and a ballet stretch tech teacher taught by the Kirov Ballet Academe. A Kundalini Yoga teacher. A special horse trainer for horses that are violent and dangerous. I am known for being the author of Unframed the book and for camillewaldorf.com, my new E-Commerce business.
I am the most proud of healing through all the hard things and keeping up with the work I set out to do. I am proud to help animals and people progress and heal in their careers and journey. I am proud of the lessons that brought me to the people I have in my life today. I am so grateful!
I am not sure what set me apart from others; maybe it was being a triple Aries.
What matters most to you?
What matters to me most is my dog, Mr. Waldorf. In all my relationships, having boundaries, honor, health, kindness, honesty, and trust. Getting to give healing back to others as I have received, and showing up no matter what.
