Daily Inspiration: Meet Bruce Languren

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bruce Languren.

Hi Bruce, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Early after high school, I had ambitions of being a software developer or website developer. This was the year 2000 and the .com boom had emerged. I soon found out that the work became tedious and as much as I enjoy creating something from a blank canvas, the fulfillment in how I wanted to share the types of gifts I have were not going to be shown through a developer avenue.

I transitioned to psychology and human behavior analysis. At which point I realized not investing into my education early on became another hurdle I was unwilling to go through at the time.

I soon found the pathway of transformation. Certifications like NLP and the life coaching. The popularity of it started growing in the early 2000s and by the time 2010 came around a new way of supporting people came to flourish in life coaching and transformational trainings.

In 2016 I decided to get my first certification in NLP (Neuro-Linguistics Programming). I then moved to working in group sessions with Mastery work to then leadership training. Most recently in 2022 finalizing my certification with Unani-BioTypes. Which has been a major leap in supporting my clients in getting past their walls and bringing to the surface all the beliefs that run their life.

Now it’s great to see how all this journey in getting these certifications are paying off in creating results with my clients and providing an opportunity for them to confront their fears and beliefs to ultimately get the results and lifestyle they have been looking to have for a long time.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The challenges I’ve faced have been mainly with thinking I had to go through a formal education process in order to achieve a specific level of success or be considered relevant or credible.

As the certifications I began to gather started to show the results with my clients, I realized that there was many ways in which the knowledge can be acquired and also practiced.

This also opened up methods of self-awareness to, not only, be a professional of coaching but also be a practitioner and student of the work so that I’m constantly in a place of growth and not become stagnant.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am currently in the work of transformational work. This encompasses life coaching and consulting.

The main specialty I have is BioTypes. Which is a study of the human biology and the personality that a particular body structure carries which then sets a matter of traits in where that person will normally function from.

I’m known to bring up beliefs and have a client realize why they have been choosing what they choose in their life and why they seem to be stuck in this loop.

One of the moments in my client’s life I enjoy sharing was having one of my clients reconnect with their mother after having this feeling and sense of disconnect for decades. 2021 being the first year where she was able to allow a family thanksgiving and have it be memorable without drama. Now connecting with her mother in such a way where love is felt versus this sense of judgment.

One of the things I focus on is not so much going through steps to do things better. But rather notice who is doing the doing. In other words, my work is much more than steps to follow, it’s practices that allow people to confront themselves and create from a blank canvas where anything can be possible versus just doing steps having the same outlook in life which would just recreate the same cycle but with a different mask.

This allows for awareness and compassion to be present to then allow my clients to have a choice. Whereas before the ones making the choices were their beliefs and not their authentic self.

What are your plans for the future?
What’s in store is to create a community of people that are in the daily practice of self-awareness with the allowance that what they learn is not THE truth. It is simple a pathway they themselves discovered works for them while being in the driver’s seat of their life.

This would then create a space where people that have done similar work can then connect at a higher level of awareness while being open to still growing.

I do not have the best process to support everyone. What I do understand, and look to have my clients understand, is that as we work on these methods it simply a component as a part of a bigger picture. Meaning when they find a friend or anyone else and they then talk about their experiences they are then sharing their experience versus comparing it.

This would then bring a bigger conversation of how do we grow from here rather than “let me one up you on why my method is better than yours”.

The big plan is to practice partnership and how allowing spaces will help us grow together and much, much bigger.
