Today we’d like to introduce you to Anuschka Van Lent.
My story began when I was 8 years old and my mother signed me up for a model and acting Agency. I was born in Amsterdam and grew up in Germany. I was already acting at a young age in big Productions and always loved standing in front of the Camera, but I knew that Germany was never the place where I wanna settle. When I was a Teenager and even already as a little Kid I had this little voice in my Head and a strong desire to move to the United States. After I graduated high school I made the big step and moved to San Diego to visit a Language School called “EF” for 6 months to perfection my English and check out what the American Dream is all about. I fell in love with the American Culture and moved right after to Los Angeles and received a scholarship for the New York Film Academy and studied acting for film for one year. After that the success didn’t wait! Within only 1 year I managed signing with a Talent Agency as the only German/dutch Actress on their Roaster, signed with a Management Company called A Greek God Entertainment, wrapped a tv show called Pathways where I portray the role “Heather Mc Kendricks” as one of the Leads, worked close with Alexandra Dean in the Documentary “Secrets of playboy” streaming on A&E Networks and played in many short films that were nominated for big film Festivals like the Sundance Festival!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s definitely not always been easy because you meet a lot of people along the road that have the wrong intentions with you. But at the other hand you can meet someone who will change your life from one day to another. Like Lady Gaga said “there can be a 100 people in the room and 99 don’t believe in you and you just need one that does believe in you”. What I learned throughout the years is no matter how often you hear a no never stop until you receive a yes. And trust me I received a loooot of no’s! A teacher in Germany once told me: “maybe this isn’t the right profession for you Anuschka, you are way to emotional!”…today I wanna say go stream Pathways on Netflix and watch me HOW emotional I can be. Thats all I have to say!

I was born to be an Entertainer, I always wanted to put a smile on people’s faces and continue to do so every day. I live every day as it comes and trust that everyone has a Purpose in this world and mine is to be the biggest Actress I can possibly be. I am so grateful that I have opportunities like this and have the chance to motivate young people from all over the world to go after their dreams. Even if you think you don’t have the financial sources or a emotional support system at home.. I just wanna tell YOU all you need is YOU and willpower and absolutely nobody and nothing can stop you.
