Hi Anre, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I come from a small town within ventura county that didn’t have much opportunity in the fashion industry in which I was pursuing. I grew up wanting to be a professional soccer player but after some serious injuries life redirected me towards fashion. I’ve since then moved to La to pursue styling , modeling as well as to eventually run my own brand someday.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It was most definitely not a smooth road there was a ton of bumps along the way. Me running a vintage reselling business for 4 years & having to end it after financial struggles was a huge one for me. It did teach me a lot about myself & what I’m capable of though. I’m grateful for my lessons.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m currently a style advisor at saks fifth avenue which is a luxury department store. This is how I’m able to support myself financially & thankfully it’s in a field I love.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
For me, luck is within & if you align yourself with good positive energy then good luck will find you & vice versa , if you align yourself with bad energy you will get bad luck.
