Today we’d like to introduce you to Amy Slaughter.
Hi Amy, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I currently create and inspire out of St. Louis, Mo. For ten years, I’ve found solace in journaling my day as a way to declutter my thoughts. There’s always been a powerful energy I’ve felt when writing – no matter what the subject. This energy connects me with myself, builds my faith, self-expression, and my ability to organize the affairs of my life with ease. And this power I feel, I want the women around me to feel too. That’s how Aims Moon Paperie came about in 2016: the idea was to design stationery as a tool for self-reflection and organization for women who want to stay connected to themselves, become confident in self-expression and organize their responsibilities in a simple, beautiful and empowering way. All products are created and produced by me, with my designs inspired by the amazing women I’ve been lucky enough to cross paths with. Aims Moon Paperie Slogan: “Jot The Stories of Your Life.” Who I’m targeting with my products? Women 25-35 years young who are intentional about creating the life of their dreams one goal at a time. My current goals? To develop strong and lasting partnerships with reputable brands while expanding my reach to empower more women.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
An obstacle that I faced in business has honestly been myself. Trusting my growth process and reminding myself that I can run a successful business.

I am most proud of the fact that I am a self-taught graphic artist that specializes in greeting card design. What sets my designs apart from others is the fun colloquialism that I quote, color schemes, and botanical illustrations.
What are your plans for the future?
My future plan is to bring on a large national retailer as a wholesale client.
