Hi Ademide, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Sometime last year, a friend of mine was on the verge of closing her business. She felt stuck, telling me that things just weren’t ‘moving.’ She had spent a lot of money on ads, hoping they’d bring in more customers, but it felt like a never-ending cycle with little to show for it. Hearing her story got me thinking deeply about how I would approach this problem if I were in her shoes. I wanted to find a way to make things easier for businesses like hers and for shoppers too.

That’s when Curaboard started taking shape in my mind. I envisioned a solution that worked for everyone—making online shopping smoother for users and helping brands stay top of mind without having to keep pouring money into ads. I put a lot of thought into making Curaboard easy to use and intuitive.

Curaboard allows people to save items from online stores across the web to one simple space. They can then get notified if an item’s availability changes, and even see price drops. Plus, they can then put several of the items they have saved into a board and share with friends, or create wishlists to share.

For brands, Curaboard helps them stay connected with interested shoppers without spending extra on ads. Our AI works behind the scenes to figure out the best times to remind users about their saved items, and we’ve already seen great results from the stores using it today.

Best of all, Curaboard is free for both users and brands, which reflects our mission—helping online stores succeed by making the shopping experience better for everyone involved.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, the road hasn’t always been smooth, but that’s part of the journey. There have been moments when I felt like giving up, especially when facing the challenges of doing something new and not always being given a chance. It’s a common experience for anyone trying to break into new territory. But what has really kept me going is the unexpected support from people I didn’t see coming. Those moments of encouragement have been a powerful reminder to keep pushing forward. Every setback has taught me something valuable, and those lessons have been crucial to getting Curaboard to where it is today.

I am passionate about building products and solving problems, this led me to build Curaboard, a platform that helps both shoppers and brands. What I’m known for is creating seamless, user-friendly experiences and being highly strategic about solving problems—whether it’s helping brands stay top of mind with their customers or making the shopping journey more enjoyable and efficient for users.

One of the things I’m most proud of is how Curaboard has already made a difference for the brands that have integrated it. Seeing the positive impact on their business—helping them reduce the need for constant advertising while staying connected to their customers—has been incredibly rewarding.

What does success mean to you?
I define success as creating meaningful impact—whether it’s helping others solve problems, making a difference through my work, or learning and growing along the way. For me, success isn’t just about achieving goals, but about the journey and the value created for others.
