Today we’d like to introduce you to A Conversation Worldwide. They and their team shared their story with us below:
ACW, or A Conversation Worldwide, is an organization that is dedicated to highlighting the stories, moments, and experiences of everyday artists who are doing truly extraordinary things. We firmly believe that these artists are more than just their art, and we strive to showcase the individuals behind the work. Through our events and programming, we provide a platform for these artists to share their personal journeys, including the mental struggles they may face. By shining a light on the people behind the art, we hope to build a community that not only appreciates the work but also supports and values the individuals creating it.
Founded in July of 2022 by Antonio Hardy, ACW embarked on a remarkable journey with a singular objective: to cultivate a national and authentic space for conversations to flourish. As time swiftly unfolded, our vision materialized, aided by the introduction of FUSION, a captivating live event series meticulously crafted by Tesheara Nelson. FUSION, an ongoing collection of immersive experiences, sought to curate an intimate environment that not only fostered conversations but also nurtured the growth of genuine relationships and profound connections. ACW became the birthplace of conversations, while FUSION continued those conversations in the hope of creating genuine and long-lasting connections within ACW’s community. Now intertwined and over ten amazing events, we continue to create positive spaces in order to support others and new connections because EVERYTHING IS A CONVERSATION.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When we first started, ACW faced a unique hurdle – we weren’t originally from Los Angeles and had no connections to the city. Building something community-based seemed like an uphill battle. But what made it all worth it was the genuine message we carried. It struck a chord with those who understood and believed in it. And you know what? They showed up, lending a helping hand and making the whole process feel less overwhelming. It was like finding your tribe, the people who just “get it.” Together, we turned a seemingly impossible task into a collective effort filled with relatable moments and shared experiences.

In the heart of our journey, we discovered the true essence of creation: within our community, by listening to the struggles and needs of the people we wholeheartedly serve. It was a beautifully transformative experience as we immersed ourselves in their stories, their hopes, and their challenges. By understanding their unique perspectives, we were able to craft meaningful solutions and build a platform that truly resonated. Our path became intertwined with theirs, a testament to the power of empathy and the profound impact that arises when we genuinely listen to and uplift one another.
