Today we’d like to introduce you to Yanna Kamenetsky
Hi Yanna, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve been very fortunate to be an event planner these last 10 years, specializing in weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings. What started as a personal passion has turned into a successful business. I’ve always loved entertaining and having my family and friends over, there’s just something so special about being surrounded by loved ones and showing them a good time. This passion has translated over to my work and I aim to bring that same feeling I get to all my clients. I’m passionate about bringing my client’s vision to life, and I’m known for my attention to detail and creative approach. Whether it’s a grand celebration or an intimate gathering, I ensure every aspect of the event is thoughtfully curated and executed perfectly.
My goal is to create a seamless, stress-free experience that leaves lasting memories. Over the years, I’ve built a reputation for being reliable and delivering exceptional results. I love what I do, and I’m dedicated to making every event unique and unforgettable.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Hah, it’s definitely been an experience! Besides the usual struggles you hear entrepreneurs having, I’ll you about the major emotional struggle I went through in the beginning. I branched out on my own during the peak of Covid, as I was adamant in getting myself out of the house. I had just found out my mom was terminally ill and I needed an outlet and a sense of connection with people around me to help with coping. Through this process, I have met so many lovely clients who have turned into now friends. Pushing through my grief while surrounding myself with happiness wasn’t always the easiest, but it was very therapeutic in it’s own ways.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in life’s special moments. It doesn’t matter how small or large your event is, I take pride in the end result. I am most proud of the relationships that I have acquired through this job. I absolutely love what I do and I pour every ounce of my energy into it. I make time for my clients no matter how busy life can get. I understand that not everyone is an event planner by nature and there are nerves that come with it. I am here to settle those nerves, smooth over any rough edges and make sure they enjoy themselves to the fullest.
How do you think about happiness?
My husband and my kids make me happy. My husband is my biggest fan and motivator. He deals with my chaos and understands how to give me different perspectives on my projects. My kids are the reasons behind why I work so hard. I want to be able to enjoy all the little moments with them and show them how beautiful life can be. Life is too short to not enjoy all the little things.
