Conversations with Vivica Menegaz

Today we’re excited to be connecting with Vivica Menegaz again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.

Vivica , thanks for joining us again. Just to level set a bit for folks who may have missed our last interview together, can you briefly introduce yourself?
Thank you for having me back! I’m Vivica, a Healing Guide dedicated to helping individuals reconnect with their authentic selves and navigate their healing journeys. Over the years, my work has evolved into a holistic approach that integrates nutrition, emotional healing, and spiritual practices. I currently offer personalized guidance through Shamanic Internal Family Systems (IFS), plant medicine integration, and private ceremonies, all rooted in trauma-informed care and inspired by my connection to the Shipibo healing traditions.

My journey began in Italy, where I was born, but I always felt a longing to explore the world and its deeper truths. This longing led me to study languages, philosophy, and psychology early on, and later to move to the United States, where I earned a BFA in Photography. My work as a photographer brought amazing experiences, but ultimately, I felt called to a deeper purpose.

Through years of self-discovery and learning, I transitioned into holistic nutrition, specializing in functional endocrinology and the ketogenic diet. This foundation eventually expanded to include emotional healing, mindfulness, and spiritual work. What sets me apart is my ability to weave together these practices, offering clients a comprehensive path to healing that addresses the body, mind, and spirit as one interconnected whole.

The highlights of my journey have always been the moments of transformation—both my own and those of my clients. I’m proud to create safe, sacred spaces for others to heal, grow, and step into their power. It’s an honor to walk this path and to share it with those who are ready to take the next step toward wholeness.

Great, so let’s jump into an update on what you have been up to since we last spoke. What can you share with us?
Thank you! It’s incredible how much has evolved since our last conversation. Over the past few years, I’ve continued deepening my practice, blending holistic nutrition, functional endocrinology, and emotional healing into a truly integrative approach. My work has grown to address not just physical wellness but also the emotional and spiritual layers that are often key to lasting transformation.

One of the most rewarding developments has been incorporating Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) into my sessions. This integration of somatic and relational healing has brought profound results for my clients, particularly those navigating complex trauma, dissociation, or nervous system imbalances. It’s a joy to witness the shifts that occur when people connect with their inner wisdom and step into their power.

Of course, this path has required continual self-reflection and growth on my part. Staying true to this work means walking my own healing journey and ensuring I’m holding space with authenticity and integrity. It hasn’t always been easy, but the challenges have enriched my understanding of the healing process in ways that allow me to better support others.

Looking ahead, I’m excited about expanding the ways I can connect with and support people. Whether through one-on-one sessions, educational resources, or new programs, I’m focused on creating meaningful opportunities for healing and self-discovery. My work is constantly evolving, and I’m so grateful to be able to grow alongside the individuals and communities I serve.

Thank you for giving me the space to share this next chapter—it’s an honor to be part of such a vibrant and ever-changing conversation about healing and transformation.

When you look back on your life, what are three things you expect to be proud of?
Looking back, there are three things I know I’ll always be proud of. First, my resilience. For many years, I didn’t realize how deeply trauma had shaped my ability to navigate the world—I was just trying to survive as best as I could. But no matter how difficult things got, I never gave up. I kept searching for answers, kept working on myself, and kept moving forward.

The second is putting myself through college without any support from my family. When I asked for help, I was told to get a job instead. But I held on to my dream and found a way to make it happen. Through scholarships and grants, I was not only able to graduate but did so with honors from a very prestigious school.

And finally, I’m proud that I’ve built a career centered on making a difference in the lives of others. It’s such a gift to do work that serves humanity in meaningful ways, and I’m deeply grateful to be able to walk this path.
