Hi Venetia, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi I’m Venetia Zipporah, professional dancer, personal trainer, life coach, and movement coach based in LA. Known for my powerful movement and versatility, I bring years of experience in styles ranging from Ballet, Modern, Dance-Hall, Jazz, Hip-hop, Heels, Acrobats, to the stage and screen. As the founder of “Healed by VZ,” I’ve created spaces for expression, healing, and empowerment through dance. Whether performing, teaching, or creating, her mission is to inspire connection and authenticity through movement.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Has it been a smooth road you ask? No it hasn’t actually. I’ve had many hardships. One of them being the passing of my mother (Debora) however she also gave me guidance and strength. She’s the reason I keep going, other than myself. She’s was my #1 fan. Under every singe post. Always bragging about me to her friends. I miss this woman dearly. Even though it brought a lot of pain. Dance was always there for me. It’s my therapy, an outlet, it’s made life easier for me to cope with. That’s not all though. The dance industry is cut throat. It’s was kinda always hard for me to fit in so I created my own lane, and started my own movement. Even though there’s been many trail and errors trying to start up a business, that never stopped me. I thank god for dance everyday. It doesn’t identify me, however it is a big part of my journey.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m known for my athleticism in a heel while still keeping it sexy. I’ve managed to work with many well know artist as a dancers and choreographer. This has been one of my dreams since I was 4 years old. Which was when my mom (Debora) put me in my first dance class. Stuck with it ever since. It took some time to pay off but it did! I’m proud to say I’ve done some pretty cool things. From Music Videos, Live performances with some of the greats Chris Brown, G-eazy, Teyana Taylor, Bryson Tiller, Diddy, Doja Cat, Tank, J Valentin, Too Short to Choreographing Tours for Eric Bellinger, Jaiydn Alexis, Cuhdeejah & BlueFace, that’s only a few! I’m excited to see what the future has in store for me.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Advice to those who are just starting out. Consistency is key, networking, and connecting with others is very important. Your look, and branding yourself is very important. Last but not least you being reliable and easy to work with is icing on the cake. Just keep going, you never know who’s watching 😏
