Conversations with Theadina Von Seyfried

Today we’d like to introduce you to Theadina Von Seyfried.

Hi Theadina, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi my name is Theadina Von Seyfried and I’m a model, actress and artist currently residing in Los Angeles, California but more recently I’ve been going back and forth from LA to Paris, France. I’m proud to be born and raised in sunny Los Angeles! I grew up in a household that represented different cultures. My dad is German from Munich and my mom is from the Philippines. At a young age, I was surrounded by the film industry since my dad produced movies when he wasn’t busy doing real estate work. Naturally, that inspired me to pursue a career in film.

Most recently, I produced a film titled “You Promised.” I also modeled in a photoshoot at Chateau Chaplain, a beautiful castle located right outside the beautiful city of Paris, for Grazia Magazine. This photoshoot was one of the best experiences of my life, and it felt like a chapter out of a fairytale. Modeling in France was truly a dream come true. Growing up loving French cinema in particular, I would love to be able to act in French films in the future. Creating has always been a passion of mine. When I’m not modeling or working in film, I enjoy drawing and painting.

My next step is to travel to get a better understanding of the world and what connects us as human beings.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Losing my father was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through. He instilled a sense of self-confidence and supported my ambitions. He taught me how to be more confident in myself so losing him was devastating. But because of him, I have a greater sense of self-esteem. Believing in yourself is a lifelong journey.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
First and foremost, I consider myself an artist. I am a model, actress, and painter. As long as I’m exploring my creative endeavors, I feel fulfilled. Growing up in a house with a German father and Filipina mother, I feel like that has given me a unique and different perspective of the world. Sometimes being both German and Filipina has made me feel like I don’t belong; but I’ve grown to embrace my uniqueness and appreciate my roots which makes me who I am. Theadina Von Seyfried.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you, and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
It taught me how important relationships are and to not take anybody or anything for granted. When the pandemic happened, the whole world shut down, and we were forced to stay home. Although it seemed horrible to stay inside it gave me the time I needed to really reflect and work on myself. It gave me a different perspective on life and has made me more grateful for things I may have taken for granted.
