Today we’d like to introduce you to The NextKidz. Them and their team share their story with us below:
NextKidz first started as a friendship connected through our similarities yet so individually different from each other. We joined the same company at different times where we all ended up meeting each other, Aniyah & RiRi were there for ten years, Kaitlin, Naomi, Angelina & Nicole five years and Feliz, Sada & Camille three years! RiRi had individual friendships with each girl and had the great idea to unite us because of the chemistry we had together our energies magnetically aligned. After dancing/competing for years, we thought it’s time to branch off & take our destiny into our own hands by taking NextKidz to the next level!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Our journey like anyone else’s has had its ups & downs but perseverance will take you so far! Our first obstacle we faced together as a group was the eight of us having the courage to leave the dance company we were with in 2018 to start our own. It was hard because that company had became our home/family and it was heartbreaking on both ends that we chose to leave to pursue our dreams. Moving to LA during quarantine & trying to find a house for nine girls is a big obstacle we had to overcome but with help Camillie, RiRi & Feliz mom, we were able to secure a beautiful home! Obstacles we face sometimes like disagreements or miscommunication but we work through it by finding a solution or middle point that both sides can agree to. Communication is very important in our relationship, anytime something needs to be addressed we talk it out healthily. At this stage in our relationship, we learned to understand that we’re not all perfect and not always going to understand each other but no situation big or small can ever get in the way of the long-term relationship we have built for ourselves especially with the goals that we have!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We are professional entertainers! We love making people smile through watching our movement & feeling our energy while we perform! Spreading positivity is major to us because there’s too much negativity in the world and we will be the group to change that by consistently encouraging our audience to DREAM IN COLOR no matter how big they seem because if everyone follows their dreams, then everyone will be happy which leads to a happy earth!! We specialize in creating the most entertaining/colorful content on our social medias by being ourselves & showcasing our talents! We are known for our sickening dance moves, positive energy, color coordinations & silly personalities! We are most proud of the impact on our generation that we’ve made by being the first all female group or representation & diversity! Being a group of color & LGBTQ has set us apart drastically from others because our relationship is incomparable; chemistry, characteristics, talents, struggles, energy, motivation, support &, etc.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Energy is the most important quality you can have because it’s what people are drawn to. If you have positive & genuine energy then people will see, feel & love that from you. People appreciate it more when they can tell you are a genuine person with positive intentions rather than someone who is negative all the time with negative intentions. You can never fail when you do anything with love.
