My co-founder and I founded SILK ROAD ATELIER to create custom Qipao (Cheongsam), where every stitch tells a tale of beauty and family story.
As fashion enthusiasts with a keen eye for elegance and appreciate for craftsmanship, we always believed that clothing was more than just fabric; it was a canvas to express one’s personality and aspirations.
We hope to create custom Qipao dresses & Chinese wedding dresses for modern brides, where tradition meets modern sophistication.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been quite the journey to get here. Throughout the process, we definitely learned to persevere and adapt.
Our path to co-founding this bespoke custom Qipao (Cheongsam) brand was far from smooth. What appeared as a seamless transition from concept to creation was, in reality, a journey paved with preparation, trial, and error.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
My co-founder and I are drawn to cities like the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, and New York City for the vibrant tapestry of experiences they offer. These urban marvels captivate our hearts with their unique charm, each one representing a distinct facet of modern living.
