Conversations with Sade Vialva

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sade Vialva

Hi Sade, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
From the age of 6 years old I always knew I wanted to be a performer. Despite growing up watching my mother get sick and almost lose her life multiple times, and little me having to be strong for her and my older brother. And at the age of 8, I got sick, and almost lost my life as well. I never gave up on my dreams and who I was. Until I turned 13, that’s when a shift took place. I began hanging around the wrong group of friends, and this caused me to be sexually assaulted by someone that I loved. I became so depressed and almost took my own life. But God met me where I was, God showed me everyone that would be impacted and the things I would miss out on if I were no longer in the world. And that’s when I decided to get back up on my own 2 feet and fight for myself. Now I am 21 years old in LA, living and fighting for my dreams as an actress.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has not been easy, I have been faced with many challenges, including others and my friends telling me that my dreams “Are never going to happen”. I was bullied at a young age to the point where I hated myself and wanted to give up. I stopped acting, and didn’t join the school play because I thought others would make fun of me. I became someone I wasn’t just so I could fit in, and therefore fell into the wrong crowd. Which caused me to be sexually assaulted by someone I loved deeply. This sent me into a dark place to the point I wanted to end my life. But thank God that I didn’t, it took years of healing, but I got there. And now I walk this road with God.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am an actress, singer, dancer, model, and entrepreneur. I specialize in acting, and I am a 2025 Bachelor in Acting Fine Arts graduate. I am known for my role as Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream play production. And I own a Christian brand for women called Birthed Royalty. My first product is a coloring book for girls called “Birthed Royalty Coloring Book For Girls” on Amazon for purchase. I am most proud of pushing through every obstacle that I have faced and using my talents to inspire and uplift others. Being set apart comes from how you carry yourself. And I carry myself number 1 with God. And I choose to walk in purity, I bring joy and light to every room that I step into. I can also be insightful for the needs of others, empathetic, and willing to go above and beyond for others, or cause without fear. I am an organic person, I do not wear a mask, I keep it 100 wherever I go.

What does success mean to you?
Success is about what difference you make. Whatever job or area you are placed in allows you to make a difference in the world and for others. Our lives are not just about us; it is also about those around us. Martin Luther King made a difference when he fought for black people’s rights; that’s success. The Kendrick Brothers make a difference with their movies for those struggling with their faith, including myself, that’s success. I will do the same and lead with success in my life.
