Today we’d like to introduce you to Nadya Sanchez.
Hi Nadya, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I purchased my first tarot deck back in 2015. I was going through so many changes at the time and I just needed answers and clarity. In 2016 is when I really had what others would call a spiritual awakening or an initiation and that’s what really kickstarted the path that I am currently on. This is what initially inspired Look into The Soul which was officially launched in 2018. I knew I wanted to share my gifts and heal others; The tarot is an unseen force that allows you to use your intuition or psychic gifts and really pick up on the energy of others. And I figured if I was able to provide clarity and healing for myself, I wanted to share it with the collective as well.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s definitely been a struggle on and off throughout the years because since 2015 I was just going through major life changes. All these energetic shifts that would take place would pull me away from work ‘cause I realized I still had a lot of healing and de-programming to do. What people don’t understand is that when you’re in this field of work, you have to heal yourself as well in so many ways. Because we are working with energy, and it’s important to acknowledge any traumas or any hindrance along the way as well.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
So currently I just started making zodiac sign jewelry, ritual candles and spell jars, and spell jar necklaces and chokers. In 2018 I started reading tarot for others, but it was in 2021 where I really started channeling my creativity into my work, and just really stepping out of my shell as a creative. I started participating in pop-up events and it’s so far been a great experience. A lot of my inspiration comes from music and pop culture from the 90s. I wanted to make healing fun. And when you watch my collective energy update videos on Instagram, you’ll see I’ll always add a song of some sort to my messages.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I’ve definitely taken a lot of risks in life. I think sometimes it’s the only way you’ll grow. I think the one major risk I’ve taken so far was moving to Palm Springs from the Bay Area with absolutely no plan, and not even an official place to live! At the time honestly, my family had no choice. But looking back, it’s been almost 3 years since we lived here. It was probably one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Despite the challenges and the needing to adapt to a different environment.
