Conversations with Michèle Tambika

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michèle Tambika. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Michèle Tambika was born and raised in Zürich, Switzerland. She moved to Los Angeles in 2018 to do her Bachelor’s degree in Acting for Film at the New York Film Academy in Burbank. At the age of 21, she founded her business “TAMBIKA” which is all about health & beauty. Michèle Tambika is also known for her modeling.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I moved to Los Angeles from Switzerland by myself when I was only 19 years old which was definitely a big step. English is my fourth language and I was already fluent when I moved here but there is so much slang that I had to get used to. Often I felt insecure about my speaking and texting. The culture is different and so are the people. There were a lot of things I had to adjust to which wasn’t always that easy at the beginning. I had to learn at a young age to be independent because I have no family here and I had to start a new life. If I look back, I’m grateful for that experience. It helped me grow up faster and become the person I am today. I experienced a lot of tough times but with the right mindset, I was able to keep going and improve my acting and modeling skills. I believe that the key to success is confidence and a strong mindset.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m about to have my Bachelor’s degree in Acting for Film. Three years of intense training definitely helped me to become the actor I am today. It is so good to see yourself improving and how you become more confident about your work. Besides the acting, I got into modeling as well. I have an exotic look and a natural appearance which helped me a lot in this business. I worked with different photographers and small businesses. The longer I’ve been doing it, the better I get. At the age of 21, I founded my business “TAMBIKA” which is all about health & beauty. I wanted to help people improve their lifestyles to live a healthier life. “TAMBIKA” means a lot to me and I’m currently working on a book. We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
To me, success is if I set goals and with hard work and consistency I eventually achieve them. It’s all about staying optimistic and to keep going no matter what. I want to be brave and dare something so I will never regret that I haven’t tried it. It’s the journey as well that matters because it will help you learn more about yourself and with your growing process.
