Hi Michael and Amanda, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We are Michael and Amanda, the Owners of The Glass Slipper Palace. We started off looking for a Venue for our own Wedding. We couldn’t find anything we loved or envisioned anywhere in Los Angeles. We built an office in our basement with a vision board and planned for two years during the pandemic. Everything we wanted at our Wedding Venue was on this board. White and Gold esthetic, White Glitter Floors, Gold Glitter Floors, a Swarovski Glass Slipper, Huge Crystal Chandeliers, European, Palace of Versailles inspired but after everything opened up, we found a place in Los Angeles. Everything that was on the vision board has come to life at The Glass Slipper Palace. It’s like a dream come true…

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Owning an event venue has been far from smooth sailing, but we wouldn’t trade the experience for anything. It’s been a profound learning journey, from submitting 7 offers on a building and no one believing in us as 1st time business owners was very challenging. Navigating contractor relationships and marketing efforts and sharing our vision has been amazing in that aspect. Though slow, the process has been incredibly rewarding.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Michael started a clothing company at 17, becoming a part of and hype man for one of the biggest bands globally, LMFAO, transitioning to music production, and an IT manager. Amanda started as an NHL cheerleader for the Nashville Predators, had her own rhinestone business, to an influencer/creator, and was on a world Tour as a professional dancer for the group LMFAO. Our journey has been very diverse. Each experience has been a learning opportunity, and now, we apply those lessons to The Glass Slipper Palace.
What does success mean to you?
We define success by achieving both small and significant milestones along the path to our goals. Success, to us, is a journey marked by challenges that inspire us to approach situations from diverse angles, finding innovative solutions along the way. Embracing the leap of faith and leveraging lessons from mistakes is integral to our growth.
