Today we’d like to introduce you to Maura Sniegoski.
Hi Maura, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Picture it: June 2015, Atlanta. Six women traveled from different cities to a hotel on Peachtree Street to attend a 4-day training session for their new catering sales positions with a national brand. Little did they know they would leave with a beautiful new group of friends who have loved and supported each other every day since. Meghan, Maura, Ashlea, Meg, Rebekah, and Casi began referring to the group as “The Peaches” and nurtured a solid and enviable support system that helped them navigate ALL things personal and professional. Over the past six years, the Peaches have been there for each other in every way imaginable. When tragedy has struck, exciting news has been announced (four babies & counting, one wedding & 1 engagement), career changes, moves, and just the very Monday-est of Mondays, the Peaches have been there via text, phone calls, FaceTime, and live and in person. You could say that they are more of a sisterhood now, all because they were randomly put together in a conference room (and rental cars) back in ATL.
Flash forward to late 2020 when two of the Peaches decided they wanted to spread the love and support that they have found in their small group with as many women as possible. They see the true beauty of what can happen when women build each other up and encourage each other to shine.
The Millions of Peaches mission started with six strangers and will one day include any and all women who want to grow together, love, and support one another.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been a road that has been full of new challenges and opportunities to grow and learn. Starting a new business during a global pandemic, with business partners over 500 miles apart (South Carolina and Maryland) and being pregnant is not easy, but it’s been really smooth considering all the obstacles other businesses have faced.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?

Before beginning this endeavor, I worked as an event planner & catering manager in Greenville, SC and through actual blood, sweat, and tears, learned what it really takes to build a successful business. Then, Covid happened and I realized I don’t want to give my blood, sweat, and tears to help build upon someone else’s dream. (Also, germs, so… there’s that. 🦠) I’m determined to do this shit for ME (and my family–peep those cuties in the photos).
I’m so lucky to have the support of my husband, Jay, and my PEACHES and over the past year, I’ve build my small creative company Meghan Diehl Designs and was able to bring joy to so many throughout the Fall and holiday season with Christmas ornaments, welcome signs, holiday signs, customized orders, hand-lettered chalkboards and stationery, and MORE.
After participating in multiple vendor events, I realized there are SO many talented babes out there (dudes, too, we don’t discriminate!), but so many of us get stuck thinking “this isn’t enough” or “This is just my hobby. I can’t afford to do it full time.” Or “I don’t understand social media or marketing.”
So what did I do? “Um, hello, Maura 📲 … there’s a market here for Peaches who want to sell their handmade goodness and I think we can help them level up!”
And here we are! I found SO many insanely talented makers, bakers, and artisans in our local Greenville market and have been reaching out to friends and new contacts around the country to curate our first four seasonal subscription boxes!!
Maura and I are using our combined YEARS (lots of years) of customer service, marketing, and sales skills to bring Millions of Peaches Box to women across the US and beyond. 🌎

Before Meghan and I decided to embark on this venture, I had spent about 20 years looking for my calling in various career paths; retail, cosmetics, product development, customer service, regional sports network sales support, catering & event sales, only to find that what I was looking for wasn’t something I would find in the traditional corporate world.
So with the unwavering support of my husband, John, my family and of course my PEACHES, I left my catering sales position in 2018 to raise my children and find my purpose. Now with three little ones at home, I want them to see that with hard work and a clear vision, you can create the life you want on your own terms.
I have spent many years honing my skills in customer service and relationship building skills and really wanted to put that knowledge to work to help people grow and find their happiness. That’s where Meghan’s brilliant idea comes in…
Meghan called me and said she had an idea about helping women owned small businesses grow and level up, and I was ALL IN! Our community of Peaches is something I will be forever grateful for, and the idea of spreading that love and support to MILLIONS OF PEACHES around the world wakes me up in the morning.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
We both have read a number of personal development books over the past 1.5 years; including The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson and are part of a few communities of women entrepreneurs.
