Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started bartending in 2018, working at festivals and events, which gave me a deep appreciation for connecting with music and people through crafting drinks. During COVID, I found myself out of a job and missing the interactions I loved most. That downtime gave me the chance to turn a dream into reality, launching Buena Vibra Bar LLC. Two years later, I’m proud to have built a thriving mobile bar business, bringing the vibes and high-quality ingredients to over 60 events and counting.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s definitely been a bumpy road. No one taught me how to be a business owner, and I had to figure things out as I went. My parents, immigrants from Mexico, instilled in me the value of hard work and emphasized the importance of school—but that wasn’t my path. While education was deeply ingrained in my family, it was the lesson of hard work that stuck with me the most. Turning my idea into reality took action, persistence, and countless sacrifices. I grew my business by reinvesting every dollar I made and letting go of my old life to build the one I truly wanted, one small step at a time.

Buena Vibra Bar LLC began as a way to bring a tropical experience to every event—because who doesn’t love sipping a refreshing tropical drink by the beach? Tiki drinks are my personal favorite, so many of our signature cocktails are inspired by those bold, fruity, and fun flavors. While we also craft classic cocktails, it’s our tropical-inspired drinks that truly set us apart. They’re not just beverages—they’re a cocktail that transports you to paradise.
