Today we’d like to introduce you to Lara Romero.
Hi Lara, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
From a very young age, I knew I was different from others. It felt as though I was a foreigner in a strange land. Raised Catholic, I had a strong connection to the Angelic Realm, and I always felt that I was here for a purpose, though I didn’t understand it right away.
I earned my BA in Human Services from CSUF, but deep down, I felt there was more I needed to learn to truly help others. This led me to pursue a Ph.D. in Metaphysics, which opened up a whole new world to me—one filled with energy work, mediumship, channeling, and the exploration of energy. As I began helping clients, I started receiving insights that seemed to come “out of nowhere,” yet proved to be incredibly accurate. Eventually, loved ones who had passed would come through to relay messages during my sessions.
As I continued my work, more insights poured in, and I learned to trust the information I received. This shift in my approach allowed my clients to experience profound breakthroughs in much less time compared to traditional therapy. Today, I’m honored to offer my services to clients worldwide through Zoom or phone sessions.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I was raised in an alcoholic home with a father who was very violent. As the youngest of four girls, I quickly learned that if I wanted to fit in with my sisters, I had to follow their lead. I began drinking at 13, and continued until I was 23. It was during that time that I made the decision to quit drinking, and that’s when I started to gain clarity about my talents.
I wish I could say everything was easy from there, but the reality was much more complicated. I struggled with depression throughout my teens and twenties, and even after I had my first child. There were moments when I seriously contemplated suicide, feeling incredibly alone. I often felt misunderstood, unable to connect with others. My perspective on life felt so different from everyone else’s—I could see through the illusion of the political, educational, and pharmaceutical systems.
However, once I made the conscious choice to fully pursue my purpose and trust my inner compass, my depression and confusion began to lift. It wasn’t an instant transformation, but slowly, things began to fall into place.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in helping people align with their soul’s true path. Too often, we compromise our dreams and suppress our talents out of fear or necessity. As a medium, channeler, and intuitive mentor, I have the ability to connect with others’ guidance teams, relaying messages about their path—messages they may not yet be able to hear.
I work with Ancient Ancestor energy to clear generational patterns that hinder success, health, and happiness. I also connect with the Angelic realm to heal traumas and belief systems that prevent us from pursuing our dreams.
Having studied various healing modalities, such as Reiki and Breathwork, I’ve spent over 25 years reconnecting with my true essence and developing my own unique healing practices. I am deeply proud of the fact that I have always followed the path that was calling me, and I am living my best life while fulfilling my purpose. It’s a true honor to help others do the same.
What sets me apart from other healers is my education: I hold a BA in Human Services and a Ph.D. in Metaphysics. This allows me to bridge the gap between mainstream concepts and ethereal wisdom, presenting them in a way people can relate to. I stand with one foot in each world, and the most amazing part of my work is that simply having a conversation can bring profound healing.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
It feels like the metaphysical industry is poised for a major boom in the coming decade. Over the past five years, we’ve witnessed a profound shift in collective consciousness, and I’ve seen firsthand how my business has flourished during this time. People are increasingly seeking alternative ways of living, moving away from the traditional 9-5 grind and rejecting outdated educational systems that cost thousands of dollars.
I believe we’re entering an era of creativity, exploration, and a deep desire to align with our soul’s true calling. Just imagine what the world would be like if we all pursued what we love and found financial success in doing so. There are so many hidden gems within each of us, waiting to be uncovered and shared with the world.
