Today we’d like to introduce you to Kimberly Miles.
Hi Kimberly, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Kimberly Gyuran-Miles left corporate America in 1999 to start her own Payroll and tax firm. I was tired of how publicly traded entities treated business with less than 200 employees and wanted to be the premier provider!
I founded TPC The Payroll Company HR Consultants, Nevada’s most prominent privately owned national payroll and human resources management firm, where she served as the President of the growing company.
Founded The Payroll Company in 2000, which was rebranded to TPC The Payroll Company HR Consultants in 2010, to tackle the problem of lost human connection and empathy that small and mid-sized businesses experience with a large payroll and HR company.
As the largest payroll and human resources management firm in Nevada, TPC brings back the human aspect of business solutions services and eliminates the HR and payroll pain of running a business. Since the organization’s inception, Miles has brought it from zero paying over 28,000 employees in over 38 states.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not an easy path! Surviving 911, and the 2008 housing market crash, and most recently, the Pandemic (I call it the Corona Verse) helped ME realize how strong business connections and support for each other can help an entire community tackle hard times. Since that realization, I have constantly tweaked the disaster plan and back office procedures to help TPC scale according to its client’s needs.
The organization currently employs more than 62 local and hybrid team members to support its products and services to embrace its current client base and increase growth.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a speaker, master connector, commercial property investor, radio personality, philanthropist, survivor, and mentor. My pride and joy is the B.E. A S.H.E.R.O. Foundation, a non-profit organization entirely dedicated to supporting, sustaining, and empowering women under the age of 25 who are affected by human trafficking, domestic violence, and negligence. Mr Miles and I also founded Miles 2 Go Vegas, a socially conscious action group that is promoting social change from within each individual and uphold the dignity of life. I am proud to say that I have received numerous awards and accolades throughout my long and illustrious career but giving back to my community has always been the true reward.
In 2023 the City Counsil recognized Kimberly Miles Day, February 25, 2023, side by side with S.H.E.R.O. Day by Mayoral Goodman. In 2022, I was recognized in INC Magazine woman in business also awarded the Soroptimist International Ruby Award: For Women Helping Women. A year earlier, in 2020, she was awarded, The Silver State Award for Humanitarian of the Year, the Bronze Medal for the Governor’s Point of Light Award and the Stevie® International Award for Women in Business just to name the last few years. My book on Amazon Zero to SHERO was a long overdue story that explained why I started my foundation and action group.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I always find the good in the bad and the happy in the sad. I am a supporter for change and an empath for humanity! I love being a US citizen! Living the dream! My business takes me all over the country but Southern California, Nevada, Arizona area is where I truly spend my time. The open minded, sense of community and the connection to nature is what I love best about this area.
