I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but every challenge shaped me into the woman I am today.
I came to America 11 years ago after a very successful career as a choreographer. Despite my accomplishments, I had to start from scratch—this time in the spotlight rather than behind the scenes. It wasn’t easy, especially while navigating a difficult relationship that held me back. But the moment I walked away, I started to shine.
To all the women out there: never dim your light for anyone. Stay true to yourself, and never compromise your worth.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I make people dance—that has always been my gift, from my early days as a choreographer to now as a musician and a performer .
My ability to bring energy and connection to the stage is what led me to open for some of the biggest artists in the industry, including Kylie Minogue, Paula Abdul, Christina Aguilera, RAYE, and many more. I don’t just sing music; I create an experience—an electrifying atmosphere where everyone comes together as one big “army of love,” just like the title of one of my songs.
In 2023, I was honored to chart at #5 on the UK Music Week charts, and WWD Fashion Magazine recognized me as one of the outstanding performers of the summer shows.
Now, after six months of embracing motherhood, I’m more inspired than ever. I can’t wait to step back on stage—this time with my little partner by my side, proving that you can have both passion and family without compromise.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My first big show was at the White Party music festival in Palm Springs. They gave me my first opportunity to prove myself, and I poured everything into that performance. The LGBTQ+ community embraced me, and from that moment on, the rest was history.
Nobody ever truly believed in me—but that never stopped me. Every step of my journey has been built by me, for me, and through sheer determination. Everything I’ve achieved is because I never gave up on myself.
